Childe hadn’t realized how close she was, nearly caging Zhongli in against the sofa. She hadn’t realized the heat growing in her own gut. She hadn’t realized the look in Zhongli’s eyes had turned from annoyed grievance to something decidedly different.
(Childe should be angry. She isn’t, not really. Childe should hate her. She doesn’t.)
And what Childe should do here is pull back, half-heartedly apologize, and go beat the shit out of some treasure hoarders to cool off. And then maybe fuck her own hand later, probably while thinking about the way Zhongli looks so pretty underneath her. Like a normal totally-not-in-love-with-her-ex-situationship person would do.
She doesn't, because she's always been terribly, terribly weak.

Alhaitham sees right through him and pointedly glances between the shirt crumpled in Kaveh’s hands and the open suitcase laying by his feet.
Kaveh shuts his eyes and prays for Celestia to strike him down where he stands.
This is exactly what he’d been trying to avoid.

You said it yourself, Kaveh. You can’t focus on anything that isn’t me, can you? How could you ever hope to work again in these conditions? You’d just end up right back on the streets, begging for someone to pick you up like a stray dog.” He says mockingly.

Everything has gone silent. The torches are off, the spirit box is silent, the rem pod has stopped. It's only company is quiet and everyone's heavy breaths.
"Yeah, I'm... I'm fine, I'm good." The boy shakily tries to placate his friends and his nerves but he feels like he's gonna cry.
The amount of fear that coursed through him, feeling like he was trapped, being held down was overwhelming.
He just didn't want to leave that chair or something else didn't want him to.
"Okay, okay, let's just… pack up and get out of here. We've gotten enough today. Let's go home or the church and just… let's just go." Tubbo suggests and the other two nod in firm agreement.
They turn to get ready to pack when something else happens.
Tommy is grabbed.

Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo are paranormal investigators with a channel they call Benchtrio. They decide to explore a very haunted museum with a dark secret.
Tommy ends up sitting in a haunted chair to test the theory and it goes downhill from there.

It’s still there, that fire trapped inside him, but it’s burning up all the oxygen Dream has left, leaving him more and more deflated with each second.
And then he flips the switch. Pulling him out of the dark and into the light, forcing him to keep his eyes fixed on the blaze of his own making.
“I thought we were fine until you left. Until I saw you with Karl. The way you looked at him.”He feels the matchbox in his hands.
“I just want to know when, Sapnap,” and Dream is thoroughly deflated now, the fire sizzling out into ashes, into dust, “I want to know when I stopped being enough for you.”
