And he seems sweet, honestly, because he takes kittens to shelters even though he has very little himself and risks losing even that to do so, and he is clearly so scared but so bright too.And slowly, much to their quiet, hopeful joy, Izuku begins to creep further into their hearts and mind and lives until, they think, he might not leave anymore.

Sometimes he has to be bad and ugly down to the very marrow, sometimes he has to be the sort of person that he doesn't like, but if he wakes up one more day then at least maybe he can be a better person then. (Maybe, one day, he will have someone who loves him, or he will be able to help people, and it will have been worth it.
Izuku, perhaps foolishly, still has hope.)But, today, he might not have to steal. Because there is food left just outside the alley that he has spent the night in.

Then he noticed them. Tucked between the documents. A stack of letters, worn around the edges. His name scrawled across the front in different handwriting.
Fan mail.
He raised an eyebrow. “What’s this?” he asked, holding up the letters.
She glanced down, then gave a dismissive wave. “Oh—those. Fan mail. Mostly from one person. We don’t know how they got the address. But it’s underground division policy. No public interaction, so we kept them.”
His grip tightened slightly.
“You kept my mail?”

"As you can see, me appointing you as principal is the only logical decision available,"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Or: Nezu goes on a week long business trip and makes Aizawa the temporary principal while he's gone, giving him all the powers the principal of UA would normally have. Aizawa, prepared to use this power to it's full capacity, silently vows to make as many changes to UA as he can in a single week. He appoints Midoriya as his secretary for the time being and together they wreak havoc among the school, showing no mercy to any obstacle in their path (And maybe becoming father and son along the way). The rest of the staff and students are left to sit back and watch as everything they know goes up in flames.
