Such a wild fic, but it’s so cool! The canon divergence (written before the show got quite that far along) is so freaking interesting.
I love lil instinctual magic stuff like that. Amnesia plotlines can be hilarious, and Hunter immediately going right back to who he was, like, immediately, no hesitation, no second thoughts, was just. Fabulous.
THE TITAN ATE KIKI. I CAN’T EVEN CALL IT CANNIBALISM. Is there a word for eating people that aren’t your species?? It probably exists in sci-fi bc aliens are definitely not doing cannibalism when they eat someone from another planet. Unless, of course cannibalism is simply defined as “a sentient being eating a sentient being” but considering chickens are described as cannibals, I dunno about that.
Potentially OP Hunter. Who did he body swap with? No idea! Casting magic without actually casting! OP AF! -

Summary
Fifteen years ago three teens from the Southern Water Tribe found a boy in an iceberg.
Two years ago, the “Last Southern Waterbender” was murdered in her home.
Five minutes ago a teen started shouting at the Southern Air Temple where a lonely monk has been hiding.
In which Kya, Hakoda, and Bato found the Last Airbender years ago. And Aang never had a reason to reveal he was the Avatar until he lost his best friend.
In which an angry thirteen year old prince desperately needs a guardian and Aang desperately needs to be needed.

Five soulmates. That's a pretty large soul family. Even for known "weirdo" Luz Noceda.
Written with Edge of the World and Labyrinth Runners in mind but not canon to said events. Also my iteration of the season one events are a little hazy... This is mostly backstory focused and canon divergence after Hollow Mind. (No offense I loved Labyrinth Runners but I wanted more umph.)
