“Viktor?”
His heart jumps. Silco’s voice is muffled, sleep-thick, but oh so achingly familiar. He had not realised until now just how much he missed it.
“You do realise it is 2 o’clock in the morning?”
He tries to speak but no words come out. The guilt, perhaps, has stolen them.
“Has something happened?”
“Papa,” he finally whispers. “Papa. Papa.” And then all of a sudden he is bawling his eyes out, horrible, heaving gasps and sobs torn from his throat, wracking his thin frame, and distantly he is embarrassed, but he cannot seem to make himself stop.
Worn down by the crushing weight of (not actually) unrequited love, workplace disputes, past trauma, and the existential dread that comes with being an overachiever in your twenties, Viktor finally breaks. Papa Silco comes to pick up the pieces.
Returning to his childhood home in Zaun for a long-overdue rest, Viktor must reckon with his past, his future, and the terrifying prospect of allowing himself to be loved and cared for.

He resisted every urge in his body to nuzzle against James’s hair.
“I really thought we’d win,” James mumbled.
“I thought so too,” Regulus said. He cursed himself the next moment. He needed to say something encouraging. Something to make James feel better. “You played brilliantly.”
James took a deep breath and then let it out. “Not good enough.”
“Oh shut up,” Regulus said. He jostled James with his shoulder and then panicked that the other boy would move away. James simply readjusted his position.
James and Regulus are in each others lives again as Regulus rebuilds his relationship with Sirius. No one knows about their fling in Hogwarts nor about their messy break up. Everything is fine until Regulus puts himself in the awkward position of consoling James after a Quidditch loss.

James stares at him. For a moment, Regulus thinks logic has finally permeated that thick skull of his. But then he breaks out into a smile. It warms Regulus’s insides while simultaneously burning his patience.
“You’re worried about me,” James declares.
Regulus nearly flinches back. “I am not!”
“You are!” James leans forward. “It’s cute.”
The Triwizard Tournament is reinstated during Regulus's fifth year at Hogwarts. He figured he had enough problems with Durmstrang's Headmaster and Crouch Sr hanging around, but then a fourth Champion is chosen from the Goblet of Fire.
Let the plotting, action, and romance ensue.

The happiest day of Sirius Black's life was when he turned eighteen and won custody over his one year old sister Vega.
Now Vega is twelve, but Sirius's relationship with his little his sister seems to be worse than ever. There is a new found distance between the two siblings, and Sirius cannot understand why his sister is being so distant. Trying his best to figure it out, he confides in Vega's English teacher who seems to be the only adult Vega trust these days: Remus Lupin.
Though this internal conflict Vega has, or should I say Regulus, may just help a new relationship bloom.
