Summary
He remembered their return to the Shire. He remembered finding Sharkey in Bag-End. He remembered moving into Bag-End with Frodo, the long nights in front of the fire while Frodo wrote in the big red book in the next room.
Surely all that had happened. Surely he hadn’t dreamed it.Despite getting all the happily ever after that he could want, Sam gets taken back to Rivendell. Not to the start of the quest, when the fellowship was formed and they began their journey into darkness. No, this was in the final days, on their journey home. They’d defeated the darkness, they’d run the evil from Middle Earth, and there was so very little left to do before he and all the company found rest.
The heartbreak they’d found in the Shire had been so very small compared to the trauma of the whole quest. And it had all turned out alright in the end, after all.
Was he really supposed to be changing the peace at the end of his story?Series

Bobby turned his attention back to Buck. “I can call if you really need me to, but I’m sure he’s just busy.”“Yeah. Sure thing,”

Summary
Remus and Sirius are the only parents Harry remembers at this point. He's loved and they keep the memory of James and Lily alive for him with stories and pictures. They've just settled in a new home, Harry's starting school and everything seems to be finally looking up for the small family despite their numerous setbacks along the way. But there's danger looming, some cryptic threat that Dumbledore has refused to explain for the past three years. Their newfound peace could well be short lived as the true nature of what's really going on finally comes to light.

Something to be scorned and expunged from society… Not all parents are willing to condemn their children to such cruelty and so Alphas and Omegas have taken to hiding their genders, covering their scents in perfumes and oils and spices, drugging themselves through heats and using restrictive bindings for their knots.
Athos and Porthos are both hiding Alphas, Aramis and d’Artagnan are Omegas, and eventually the four come together as Musketeers in the Kings service. At first all is well, then their genders and fertile states are revealed...
