It's also on the southern New Jersey shore, with the flimsi in-story excuse being that Americans will be less likely to recognize them, and the real reason being I have experienced many strange things in southern New Jersey. -

Summary
Cody has decided that his General is the most hypocritical man he's met. This is high praise and a great honor, coming from a man such as Cody, and also considering he's batchmate with fucking Marhsall Commander Fox (the previous champion in Cody's hypocrite tournament).
This assessment is currently being proven right (not that it needed to be, Cody's assessments are always right), by Obi-Wan walking into his office at past 2am, telling him he needs to put down his datapad and go to bed. Emphasis on the "coming into his office at past 2am" part.
"Sir, with all due respect," Which is none, Cody may have dangerously affectionate thoughts for the man and admire him a great deal, but any respect is now down the drain. He's seen too much, "Why are you awake?"
Obi-Wan smiles in that fucking way he always does-- charming, disarming, and most of all, full of shit, "That's not a relevant topic, Commander, and not one I'm partial to discussing."
"Mhm," Cody says, eyebrow raised, "Should have thought of a better excuse than that before you came in here then."
