Summary
Core: a kernel of power that grants the person it awakens within abilities.
Oni: people who use the abilities they gain from their cores to harm others.
Devas: an organization of people who fight the Oni and protect civilians.Yuuri was just trying to help, to warn someone about the massacre that was going to happen to the Devas. But he was too late and now he and Victor were pulled into the middle of a fight that has been building for years. It's okay, though. Yuuri still wanted to help. He'd trained himself with his cores to be able to help. He was going to help stop the Oni that had caused so many people so much pain so he could go back to his life and feel good about it. Victor will stay by his side and watch over him so he's sure he'll be fine.
Takes place immediately after Attack of the Oni: Dream of the Reaper (Part 8 of the series). You don't absolutely need to read the rest of the works in the series to understand what happens in the fic, but that one-shot is at least useful to have read.
The story will feature characters from all other fandoms in the series, but the focus will not change from Yuuri and Victor. It will only be told through their perspectives.

They are never letting Anderson order them to shore leave again if this is what they get for it. Assassination attempts, black tie events, murder, infiltrating Citadel establishments, and coming face-to-face with a clone is a bit much, even for the Normandy crew. And the clone knows the best way to get one up on the real Commander Shepard is through the people he cares about, one man in particular.

Summary
Over half the population has abilities of some kind, the power coming from a core that forms within their body. The Oni are those who use their abilities to harm others. The Devas, along with the User Enforcement Agency, fight the Oni to protect civilians from their ambitions. And there are those in the world whose power is unique and that makes them of interest to the Oni.

Summary
Cloud hadn't expected that the string of words on his arm would lead him to First Class SOLDIER, Zack Fair. Having such an impressive soulmate was beyond intimidating, especially since Cloud couldn't even begin to measure up. Which was why he'd decided to keep his mouth shut and never say a word. If he never said the sentence that was printed on Zack's arm, then Zack would never know the truth of the matter. Unfortunately, the more Cloud tries to distance himself from his soulmate, the more Zack focuses in on him. Until it feels like he can't go anywhere without running into the good-looking First Class.

There's a shift in the universe Zack's not aware of. Running from death and kicking ass, all he can do is get Cloud as far away from Nibelheim and Hojo as he can. Hopefully running right back to the heart of Shinra doesn't backfire on him. He got Cloud into this mess to begin with, he better be able to get him out of it.
Zack is alive, spoilers for remake, loosely canon and I mean loosely. Fix it Fic. Starts at end of Crisis Core. Or the end of the remake? What is this nonsense. Also loosely canon CC.

“You’re blind,” Derek said flatly, the anger draining from him so suddenly he felt almost woozy. His vision cleared, his claws sliding back into blunt fingernails.
“Thanks for the memo, genius,” the kid said acidly. “I can still fucking defend myself, so don’t take another damn step.”
“Fuck, I...I’m sorry,” Derek stuttered.
“What?!” The kid’s brow crinkled. “I mean — what?! You’re fucking sorry!?” His lips thinned into a harsh line. “What, is this some kinda Hallmark movie where you’re discovering the error of your ways because you don’t want to rob a blind person?! That’s fucking condescending, man. I’ll have you know that —”
“Just, wait.” Derek interrupted what was apparently the start of a convincing argument as to why he should rob the kid after all, feeling his head start to spin. “This is — it’s a misunderstanding. I’m — I’m not robbing you. You’re — you’re safe, okay? I’m taking three steps back. Just — just let me explain.”
“Explain why you came busting into my apartment? Yeah, go right ahead, man, I can’t wait to hear this epic tale.”
