You ever see a fly endlessly bumping against a window so you open the window to let it out instead of just getting the swatter like usual. And it's all just on a whim?
So, anyway, Simon somehow finds himself floating in space after screaming at a giant eye in an endless red void.
Grace and Rocky are on the way to Erid when they come across an iron submarine with a dead eel monster hanging off the end.
Simon gets to heal, Grace gets to interact with another human again, and Rocky gets to watch the incredibly awkward courtship rituals of these two disasters (affectionate).

While that goes off without a hitch, accidentally meeting Rivkah's brother the next night does it. It goes off with a bat, swung directly at Jason's face.

"What?"
"Well, I was really hoping one of my regular kids would be able to make it today, but he couldn't. He's a really big fan of yours, though, and I don't want him to feel upset about missing you. I thought he'd appreciate a personalized autograph. So, if you don't mind too much, would you make it out to Damian Wayne?"
Robin freezes as Batman suddenly coughs into his fist. His shoulders are shaking, and it takes every ounce of Rivkah's control to not start laughing with him. She keeps her eyes on Robin, her smile hopeful as he stares at her. "I apologize, I think I misheard," Robin says. "For who?"
"Damian Wayne. Bruce Wayne's son? He's a big fan," Rivkah says, lowering her hands when Robin doesn't take the pen and paper. "It's okay if you don't want to. I didn't tell him I would ask. I wanted it to be a surprise. So, uh, no pressure."
Rivkah watches Robin's jaw clench and his fingers twitch. When Batman clears his throat, he sighs and holds out his hands. "Fine," he says.

Summary
Max stares with wide eyes as two boys fall through the door. The shorter one (but barely, maybe no more than an inch shorter) is wearing a varsity jacket and stumbling over his feet as he walks backwards. His arms are looped around the taller boy’s neck, and he’s still laughing. The taller boy wears a vest layered over a leather jacket, has untamed hair, and looks at the shorter boy with eyes that make Max feel like she’s intruding.
Both boys’ clothes are slightly rumpled, and she only now realizes that the taller boy’s hands are resting on the other’s waist. They haven’t seemed to notice Max or El, and the taller boy uses his foot to kick the door shut.
El calmly says, “Steve, we are watching Dracula. Would you and Eddie like to join us?”
Steve and Eddie jerk apart, finally noticing Max and El in the room. They glance at each other, a whole conversation held in that one look. It is, apparently, a conversation that Eddie loses, because he sighs as Steve grins. “How far are you?” Steve asks, kicking off his shoes before collapsing onto the couch.

The zombie apocalypse hits, and Steve and Robin sacrifice themselves for their friends. And then they’re zombies, semi-self-aware, shambling around the mall, inexplicably never hungry, understanding each other better than the other zombies ever could, and inadvertently rescuing a girl named Max.
The mall isn’t safe for her, so Steve and Robin leave to find somewhere that is, and they might just find their way back to living again when they run into people who thought they were dead.

And then he’s trying to keep himself together while setting up a base, keeping a gaggle of reckless fourteen-year-olds alive, and fighting against the resignation of his friends.It all comes to a head when he takes Dustin on a walk and they hear a girl scream. When they reach her, they can only watch as the girl is saved by a heart-breakingly familiar zombie. A zombified Steve and Robin that don’t eat them on sight is already more than they could have ever hoped for, but they soon discover that the two are a lot less dead than they seem.
