Midoriya’s throat constricts with effort and he can practically feel the bile rising in his chest.
Oh God, All Might-sensei was going to be so mad! This was so, so bad. If the class knew he had One for All it would put even larger targets on their back than they already had. He’s hoping, praying that he can hold it down but it’s no use.
This is it, this is the moment that all the cover he’s laid down goes to waste, he’s scrabbling at the carpet even as his face begins to purple. His throat was already starting to close and he was beginning to choke as the truth quirk did what it did best– pull out the truth.
Before he can even think he blurts out:
“I catfished Kacchan on Discord for two years in middle school!”
Or:
Class 1-A Truth quirk shenanigans that somehow ended up more than a little angsty.

The sun peeked out from behind those clouds, landing on tufts of vibrant green curls and igniting the round, freckled cheeks of none other than Izuku Midoriya. His build was slender and lithe, his movements fluid as he weaved towards them on a pair of his own skates. Compared to the clumsy, awkward nerd he used to be, he might as well have been an entirely different person.
As he approached, he caught Katsuki’s eyes, and his eyes creased as he did a small spin that had to be showing off. He skated past them, backwards, and offered a shy little smile. Katsuki felt his head craning to the side to follow his movements, unable to take his attention off of Izuku.
“That motherfucker,” Katsuki muttered under his breath.

Adrien has mastered the art of the smile. Even while his mind is on poor behavior, when he's caught beneath a barrage of unkind thoughts to himself, he's still able to keep his smile. Attend his friends' parties, maintain small talk, get through the day — and hopefully his friends won't realize how messed up he really is.
Everyone is out-pacing him. While he's barely getting out of bed in the morning, his friends are making waves, changing lives, getting engaged.
He can't even get his girlfriend to text him back.
So, sure. Maybe he's not in the best head space right now — but 'suicidal'? Ladybug's certainly just reading too deeply into things. But if her concern for Chat Noir's mental state is enough to get her reaching out, well, he won't turn down the opportunity to chat with a friend. Besides, Ladybug seems to be having a rough go of it, too. Maybe they can help each other out.

Izuku (tiny, earnest Izuku) in the sandbox is a lopsided castle with a plastic All Might flag. Katsuki stomps over, palms sparking, and plants himself in front of it like a guard dog.
“Mine,” he declares, pointing a stubby finer at the castle.
Izuku blinks up, eyes huge, and offers a shovel. “Wanna help, Kacchan?”
Katsuki’s cheeks go red. He snatches the shovel, sits, and starts digging a moat.
Mitsuki hides her laugh behind her coffee mug. Already whipped, brat.

Falling in love with the one guy he deserves the least in the universe seems like a befitting punishment for someone like him.
Katsuki loses his quirk. One day, his childhood friend visits him at the hospital.

“I slept sooo good,” Izuku declared, wiggling happily against his chest. “Did you? Your bed’s really warm.”
Katsuki snorted. “Warm, my ass. You kicked me in the ribs three times. I barely got a wink.”
Instead of looking even a little guilty, Izuku giggled like Katsuki had just told him a bedtime story. He propped his chin on Katsuki’s chest, all soft curls and sleepy eyes. “But you didn’t leave me! I knew Kacchan wouldn’t.”
The words landed heavier than Katsuki wanted to admit, burrowing somewhere under his ribs where even explosions couldn’t shake them loose. He grunted, trying to shove himself upright—only for Izuku’s grip to tighten instantly. The kid latched on like a damn baby koala, fists clutching, legs tightening around him.
“Nooo, five more minutes!” Izuku whined, nose squishing into Katsuki’s shirt. “Just five!”

Katsuki doesn't have a habit of breaking promises, but for all that he'd done to Izuku he cannot bring himself to ask for something he has no right to ask for. A love he does not deserve even though he knows it's the oldest promise he'll break. Good thing Izuku isn't one to break his promises either.
