    “Radio and video, me and you!” Vox placed his hand outstretched to his friend. “We could rule hell. Together! As partners!”

    Alastor dragged his eyes over the hand. Then up the sleeve. Then to Vox’s screen. Anxiety made itself known as sweat on the back of Vox’s neck, the weight of Alastor’s calculating stare far more than he’d expected. The silence seemed to last an uncomfortably long amount of time, but finally, Alastor accepted the handshake.

    “Sure.”

     

    Or: Alastor accepts Vox's deal instead of laughing in his face.

    Ridiculously careful, Vox combs his sharp claws through the red hair. Through the lush bangs, over the velvety soft ears folded back. Alastor doesn’t stir. His face turned away from him. Yet every now and then he blinks. Slowly, so slowly that Vox can almost believe he’s enjoying it.

    As their lips met, a strange quiet fell. Wukong's stoic expression softened slightly. The sharp edges of the blue glow in his eyes seemed to diffuse just a little. He returned the kiss with a sudden, almost bewildered eagerness, responding to the contact Macaque had initiated. A low sound, like a happy sigh, escaped Wukong.

    But Macaque couldn't help but feel some pleasure in the act. If he closed his eyes and ignored the ice-cold lips, he could pretend this is the true Wukong he is kissing. He was kissing his precious king again.

    Macaque began to purr into the kiss, as did Wukong.
