“Here, let me show you,” Trigger Happy held their hand up, slowly moving the other one behind them. Zoro gave a warning tilt of his head and reminded them all that he had a sword against one of their friends’ throats.
“Not going for my gun, going for my wallet, easy.”
Trigger Happy pulled out a wallet and held it open for Zoro to see. Instead of an ID in the clear plastic sleeve, there was Zoro’s highschool senior photo staring back at him. Below was written:
MARIMO: DO NOT ENGAGE, DO NOT HARM, DO NOT KILL
Only one person called him that name and hadn't for years. So who the hell were these people and why did they have his picture on what looked like a no-hit list of one?

Zoro skims the rest — tall, Caucasian, healthy and a cook by trade.
His eyes flick back to the doc, brows furrowed in question. What does he expect him to say? It's not like he's picking a catalogue bride. This is just hormones, and if any baby will do, well — any baby will do.
He pushes the piece of paper back with a shrug. "Looks fine to me."

And so if he moons over them and makes a fool of himself and lets himself get swept up in hopped up romanticism and the women’s desire turns to disinterest and disgust and he never gets further than a kiss on the hand, well… It just is. Zeff doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get that sweet, terrible trickle of relief he feels when women pass over him. He’s disappointed he doesn’t get the ladies! He just can’t help coming on so strong – he’s full of passion! And if his nightmares sometimes feature sense-memories of long fingernails on his skin and sticky lipstick on his mouth, well, that’s his business.

Es impactante darse cuenta de que este hombre está ligado a un daemon tan modesto y pequeño. Esperaba algo hambriento y salvaje como él mismo, un lobo, un jabalí o un carnero, feroz como la fuerza de sus patadas y la violencia salvaje que intenta disimular con caballerosidad. Marguerite es una rata no más grande que su mano, pequeña, temblorosa y terriblemente solitaria. Intenta juntar la imagen de los dos. Es difícil, pero vuelve a mirar a Luffy y lo ve. Comparten esa misma cualidad de una niñez que nunca llegó a convertirse en adultez. Una muestra externa de tragedia. Eso no hace que sea más fácil para él tratar con el cocinero, pero ahora lo entiende. Por mucho que peleen y gruñan, nunca involucra a Marguerite. No es un completo canalla.

Sanji spent his teenage years going through hell to prove to his father that he was worthy of love. Worthy of redemption. To prove that he wasn't just some sinner. To prove he could change. The devil had twisted his mind. That must be the only reason he found other boys so attractive.
All he has to do now is spend a year at some shitty religious boarding school in England. If he can get through the year without any more mistakes, he might be allowed to go back to Zeff.
It's a shame that damn mossball in his sociology class has to go and ruin his plans.
