Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

“Wha’appened?” He slurs.
“Ariana Grande happened,” Leo says, watching his brother's face for any signs of recognition. The whole thing must’ve left poor Mike more muddled than anticipated, and Leo sighs, though, in a time like this there’s absolutely no real heat to it.
“ Grand-eh mal seizure.” He explains, a little more seriously this time. “Just a baby one, really.” He keeps his hand curled around his shoulder. “How’re you feeling?”
Mikey’s eyes slide shut, and he sucks an almighty breath through his nostrils, his whole chest puffing out before he slowly exhales.
“Hmm. Like.. like Michelangelo.” He says rather drowsily.
Leo frowns, a chasm forming between his brow bone. “Huh?”
There’s the faintest of smiles tickling at his brothers mouth, the kind that chases away all the worry creeping back into Leo’s system when his brother cracks open an eye and says with a raspy voice,
“Like Michelan-jello .” He grins. “Get it? Cos I’m all shaken up.”

Usually, when faced with one of Harry's non sequiturs, Kim would intentionally force his face to remain neutral, carefully hiding either confusion or a grin.
This time however, he opened his mouth to speak, then stopped himself before a single word left his lips. His eyebrows creased in a look of intense concentration, while his gaze went right through Harry, then snapped back into focus. Before the lieutenant was able to reign in his expression again, something flickered over his face.

It’s difficult being a single father, but Nick does as best he can at raising his little girl, Kim, in a house on his own. With how much he works, he’s often worried about her feeling lonely- but thankfully loneliness doesn’t seem to be much of a problem for her with how many imaginary friends she seems to have. Nick has overheard her reading stories with her teddy bear, giggling and laughing as she entertains herself with a board game, and playing pirate with the ship in a bottle. Most children probably wouldn’t be found trying to strike up a conversation with something like a vacuum, microwave, or the hangers in their closet- but Nick just figures that his daughter is on the more imaginative side. As long as she’s happy and not getting hurt, what’s the harm? In any case, he loves hearing about the antics that Kim and her imaginary friends get up to. Though those friends may not be as “imaginary” as Nick believes them to be…
