The Inkling set upon robbing the store used a machete in an attempt to execute the store's owner. While he managed to cut her quite significantly, he failed to recognize her being an Axolotl. I watched the footage of her attempted execution repeatedly, and I watched as she regrew her limbs as if nothing happened. From that, I thought how fortunate it is to regenerate in such a manner, and how I wished every woman could do the same; so, I thought, why not grant the AI such an ability to&;*@

It was the first day of school after the winter holidays. For many, it was the day of reunion with their friends and their social circles. But for one Taylor Hebert, this day will mark the worst day of her life.

As today is the day she gets her superpowers after the most traumatic event of her life sets her story in the trajectory of violence and danger. Taylor Hebert becomes the protagonist of a gritty, angsty superhero web series.
“Hold on. I didn’t sign up for that.”
Taylor expresses her displeasure with the fate she was given. Would Taylor like to edit the summary page?
“I can just do that?” She realizes that she can change the genre of her story to- “Romantic comedy. O-or, sm- fuck. Anything but gritty angst.”
And so begins Taylor’s romantic escapades.

Takes place roughly a year or so before the events of Splatoon 3.
Although writing for this project began before Splatoon 3's release, "EiG:BSF" has been labeled 'canon compliant' to the Splatoon series after extensive research and confirmation. Previously updated on Saturdays.

In order to succeed in protecting Earth from a genocidal traitor, he has to evade capture, make amends with the New Squidbeak Splatoon, and explore a large mechanical metropolis known as Atlantis; All while looking for a way to save Marie, an idol he foolishly handed over to the real enemy, and his friend, Inka, who he unintentionally got captured. And the worst part is he's running out of time to do all of it. If Akikta doesn't find a solution to his unfortunate condition, he'll be dead by tomorrow. But he's never been a quitter, and he isn't gonna start now. With nothing but his wits, his octoling friend, Nakji, and his will to live, Akikta will find a way to save everything... or die trying.
