Legend cuts him off with an exasperated, "What do you mean technically? There should not be a 'technically' anywhere in that sentence, Hyrule!"

After a few near-misses with his magic running empty and his form wearing off--and painfully so--he know better than to paint a target like that on his back in a place teeming with Knights.

Summary
It takes literal hours, but the man eventually manages to calm him down enough to explain--haltingly and painstakingly slowly--that he is a Hero too.
By the end of it, it's honestly not that hard to believe. Hard to understand, sure, but Hyrule already has two Queens. Two Heroes isn't exactly an unprecedented idea, at this point.
Then, the other Hero explains that there are others.
[or: Link doesn't speak. Neither does the strange man with the magic box. Together, they figure something out. Eventually.]

Summary
The absence of the familiar comfort is deeply felt, but it's hard to find a safe place to do it on the road. By himself, he could clear out a burrow somewhere and ward the doors, but he can't just wander off on his own anymore. For all that being with the Chain affords him a level of safety he's never experienced before, it also means hiding things.
A lot of things.
(or: Touch-starved, touch-averse Hyrule finds a suitable compromise. Too bad he can't tell anyone about it.)

A feral tiny Prime.
Great. Just what he needed. A distraction while planning the biggest coup in Cybertronian history.
Takes place Before Megatron over throws Megazarak in the lull between the Decepticons getting thrown off Cybertron and the war restarting.
Also Sentinel Prime also got demoted in this AU. He is very much not a fan of construction work.

Summary
The Golden Age is long past, and all that remains of the old cities is the walled military state of Iacon. But now, Cybertron itself is dying.
When Iacon’s last energon well dries up, the blame is laid on one the Temple calls “the aberrant spark”. It is decided that the youngling will be sacrificed to Primus to heal Cybertron.
Nightshade is taken beyond the walls and thrown into a gorge, but they survive thanks to the Hive.
Then the Hive’s energon runs dry, and they must follow the a strange pull in their spark if they wish to save their newfound family.
