He was expecting just a few days of sex, but he couldn't have been more wrong. Now, Aventurine is stuck in a hotel room with a sappy, possessive, and dense version of the dear doctor. Of course, it's Ratio and Aventurine; they are HORRIBLE at communication. Feelings get hurt, but there will be a happy ending :)
I want to preface that I took a more animalistic, primal approach to Ratio's rut. It's not just "ooo me want omega, me wanna mate", what Ratio experiences is more emotional and frustrating (of course, along with wanting to rail aventurine, no honkai star if u know what I mean). Also, in my little omegaverse, when an omega is exposed to an alpha's rut scent for prolonged periods of time, they experience an almost aphrodisiac/dizzying effect that makes them calm and pliant.

Only, it's not enough for them to simply get married; the marriage has to look legitimate too. Which is fine. Aventurine can act the part. Except, he's not really acting. Not anymore. And this last-minute trip to visit Ratio's family in Bumfuck Nowhere, Veritas Prime as Ratio's newly minted fiancé is threatening to prove it.
