Summary
There is a man with very long hair in Mary’s studio.
She sees him before he sees her, which is almost a surprise, because he looks like the reason he’s here is because he knows Stede. So he’s a pirate. He’s looking at the painting she’s working on now: a lighthouse, again. This time, however, the ship is staying away. It’s a symbiotic relationship.
“You’re the Widow Bonnet, then.” the pirate says, before she announces herself.
Mary paints the man who comes to her studio asking about Stede, and tells him all about her late husband.

Summary
Rocky and Grace have been alone for so long, that it was only natural that they became (perhaps unhealthily) attached to the only other person they could interact with for several years. Separating them, even for very necessary reasons, isn't fun for either of them.
When Rocky gifts Grace a stuffed animal to ease the loneliness, Grace quickly becomes almost just as attached. Rocky, on the other hand, starts to wish that Grace would (and could) hold him like that.-----

Summary
While working on solving the issue of Grace slowly dying of starvation, malnutrition, and a host of other issues, the Eridians discover the human internet (largely Wikipedia) and fall down a rabbit hole of trying to figure out everything they can about the needs of their squishy alien savior. While most of their focus is on the food issue, another link catches their (metaphorical) eyes.
"Touch starvation, also known as touch deprivation or skin hunger, is the physiological need by humans and other species for physical contact with their own species or other living beings."
No one is happy about this.

The solution to astrophage is on board of the alien ship. Their spaceship is stranded in space, out of commission. The crew is almost entirely dead. Killer space particles that cause sickness - explain later. The only one who survived is the engineer making contact.
But Rocky does not come home alone.

“Hey, if you wanna admit you’re not the best at I Spy, go ahead and say it,” Grace teased, grinning at Rocky. His smile faltered as he realized Rocky went completely still. “Rocky?”
“Grace leaking,” Rocky said, scrambling forward and chirping in distress. “Grace bad leaking!” Grace paused as he felt his nose drip. “It’s just snot, Rocky,” Grace said, going to grab a tissue.
“No, no, no, no! Bad leak! Bad leak!” Rocky exclaimed, his whistling tones wavering as he followed Grace.

Grace gets a nosebleed and doesn't realize it. The last time Rocky saw blood come from Grace's head, Grace almost died. Rocky panics.

Young or old, friend or not-quite-foe, he always just seems slightly off. Ajar somehow. Like walking down an art gallery only to find one painting has been hung upside down - nothing you'd clock immediately, but once you see it you wonder why.

On Erid, teachers are the protected, prized few. Rocky learns that Grace was a teacher, and they have a discussion. (Can it be counted as one if dissonant notes are shrieked at the revelation for the majority of it?)

Summary
Ryland Grace doesn't even bother trying to not cry when he sees the little house on the beach. The water might be boiling, and the terraform dome might be barely bigger than the Hail Mary herself, but Rocky and Adrian made him a house. Instead of living alone on a spaceship forever he can live on Erid. They made him a bedroom. They brought down Armando. Grace sits on the floor and focuses on breathing evenly.
Is good reaction, he hears Rocky tell Adrian. Leaking sign of strong emotion. Grace often have strong emotion.

You look like an old friend of ours. Good ole’ Balinor. A member of court before Uther chased him away.” The man snorted and Arthur’s gaze jerked up.
“Balinor?” He asked sharply and turned where his father was taking a sip of his wine “The dragonlord?”
