“I see how it is. And here I thought that we were going to be friends.” Another forlorn sigh from behind him. Steve wrestled the smile on his face.
“Friends?” Steve couldn’t help but ask.
“Buddies. Partners. Pals. You know, friends.” he elaborated. Steve chuckled.
“Didn’t need a definition, smartass.”
“Oooh, you Quartz are always so foul-mouthed!”
“Talk to many Quartz?”
“Only the pretty ones.”
Steve rolled his eyes, but his cheeks flushed nonetheless.
“Quite the rulebreaker, aren’t you?” Steve teased, glancing back over his shoulder. The Pearl tries to hide behind his curly, navy hair.
“What are you, an Agate?”
“Worse. I’m the Quartz that’ll drag you off to trial.” The Pearl tipped his head back to laugh properly. A musical sound, like spears and victory. Perhaps this was a mistake. Perhaps this was the best mistake Steve could ever make.aka The Steven Universe and Stranger Things cross-over no one asked for! But I wanted to explore more of Homeworld and I didn't want to make new characters from scratch. Plus, I get to scratch that sweet, sweet Steddie itch.

Jefferson Davis can’t lie to himself, as much as he tries. He and Miles have always butted heads-- his son just has this carefree, unfettered approach to life that Davis' strict, no-nonsense methods seemingly have no place in. A large part of him loves Miles for that, truly, even though sometimes Jefferson feels as if he's just slowing him down.
But now, with Miles away at school on weeknights-- seemingly always busy with something or another-- Jefferson has never felt that gaping space between himself and his son yawn wider.Enter the new Spider-Man. A free-spirited kid, five foot nothing and standing between the whole city and danger as if it’s his job, breaking a long series of minor laws with careless ease, and giving a certain cop heart palpitations on a regular basis.

“Your reputation took a blow,” Pepper tells him. “Which will be fixed, of course. I’ve already set it up.”
“Set what up? What, am I going to make flower arrangements with the elderly?”
Pepper slides a piece of paper towards him. “Try an orphan. His name is Peter Parker. His biggest dream is to meet you. But…” She hesitates.
