Summary
Stiles is just trying to prevent the next supernatural problem from killing his friends. Derek is just trying to keep his pack alive (and ignore the desperation that crawls under his skin whenever Stiles is near).
When Stiles goes into the preserve to investigate a string of murders, he and Derek are kidnapped by an unknown group and locked in a basement with no escape. Each night brings new suffering, and each day they have only each other.
The two will have to learn how to lean on one another to keep their sanity intact, and they’ll have to work together to escape.
Too bad they annoy the shit out of each other.

Summary
This is Derek’s life. A sea of people he cannot trust, always trying to get him to trust them if only to get that leg up on everyone else. There is almost no one for him to rely on, no one for him to put his full faith and credit into – nearly no one to watch his back.
The only person he has that he can trust implicitly is Stiles. To most people, Stiles is just the little fucktoy twink that Derek took home like a stray puppy, buying him expensive things and taking him out to dinner because he’s just so good looking and cute. And stupid, they think he is. A little idiot flashing credit cards and sucking Derek off underneath the table. They don’t know how powerful Stiles is, just from being the one person whose word matters at all to Derek Hale.
But they’ll find out.

Summary
Stiles is ten when he saves the Hales from their burning home and Derek from a wolfsbane bullet, and this establishes a pattern that seem to continue indefinitely.
"Then he's facing a burning home, and he wraps the hood of his sweatshirt around his mouth before he pushes the door open and steps inside. There's Mr. Hale asleep - he hopes asleep - on the couch, next to - Stiles thinks that's his brother but there are so many Hales, who can keep track. He rushes over and starts shaking him, can see the rise and fall of the man's chest so he knows he's alive, but he's not waking up.
He shoves away his hood so he can shout, "Mr. Hale! You have to get up, there's a fire! Mr. Hale, get up!" Nothing, he's not even twitching, both of them taking in deep even breaths like they're having the most peaceful of rests, and Stiles is going to cry. "Wake up, wake up, wake up!"
There's a moment, where all Stiles can hear is the blood rushing in his ears and not the roar of the flames or the creak of wood, then with a violent, silent pop it's all back and both of the men are gasping awake, eyes open and jumping to their feet. "Series

Summary
Stiles is kidnapped and tortured for nearly seven months. After he manages a frankly unbelievable escape he now has to deal with a damaged body and a damaged mind. The PTSD keeps him awake at night and he doesn't know if he can handle the pain he sees on everyone's faces when they look at him.
But Derek, Scott, Erica, Boyd, Isaac, Papa Stilinski, and even Peter are there to help Stiles pick up the pieces and heal him. Even Deaton throws in a helping hand. In the end, justice will be served.
