Summary
He wakes up. His hair is an inky black, long against his back. His eyes are a bright red. The world is cold, and his name, he’s told, is Izuru Kamakura.
How boring.
The doctors manhandle him for a while, observe his brain scans and his blood, but he pays it no mind; he already knows what the results should be. He observes the world around him. There is very little to see, he is underneath Hope's Peak Academy, in a lab, where he was just created.
Observing himself, he notes with slight curiosity the recently healed bruises on his cheek, but dismisses it as something the doctors did.
With nothing better to do, he shuts his aching eyes and goes to sleep.
Unbeknownst to Izuru, Hajime Hinata stares in horror at his altered body lying next to him, and his new apparent transparency.
Well, he always did feel invisible, at least the ghost thing can be his excuse now.
Fuck.

Like Steve who has started hanging out with Eddie Munson and getting piercings and wearing eyeliner and not being the man Lucas thought he was.
“Steve is that an earring?” says Dustin, at one of his highest pitches, slap bang in the middle of one of Eddie’s tirades.
Everyone pauses. Number one, you never interrupt Eddie, especially not during D&D. Number two, what? (Lucas has strong suspicions he can’t let Max ever find out about this, or she’s going to break-up with him and become a full-time Steve admirer.)
They all lean forwards.
Steve shifts slightly uncomfortably, but he looks amused. “Yeah.” He shrugs. And there it is, a single tiny silver hoop in his left ear. Lucas stares, amazed.
“You’re a guy,” says Lucas, without thinking about it.
Steve only laughs. “I am aware, Lucas, thank you.”

Tubbo doesn’t know how to be in love. He asked Nikki once- she described it as physical sensations: butterflies in your stomach, heat rushing into your cheeks. Your hand, shaky and aching, like something is supposed to wrap around it, to keep it warm and steady.
He smiles, congratulates her, and doesn’t tell her that he can no longer feel sensation on his right cheek, that the nerves in his hand were sliced and how his hand hasn’t been able to be still since.
He doesn’t tell her that it’s awfully convenient because he had never felt those things before, so it wasn’t like he was missing much.
