After a lifetime of bullshit, Gintoki has pretty much everything he's ever wanted including, and most recently acquired, the affections of a certain cantankerous police officer.

“That’s it?” Gintoki sounded genuinely surprised.

"The room is constructed like a peep show. It is split in two: he’s sitting in a chair on one side, his upper half almost entirely hidden behind curtains that are see-through from his perspective only. To the right of the armchair is a tablet, to communicate if he doesn’t want to talk out loud. The other side looks like a classic love hotel room, with a plush bed and low rose-tinted lights, as well as an array of sex toys and lube on a table nearby.
And finally, sitting in the middle of the bed, wearing a bathrobe that's falling off one shoulder, one leg crossed on the other and curly silver hair struggling to stay backwards with cheap gel — is Sakata Gintoki. Who has no idea that in front of him is not just any Shinsengumi member, but its very own vice-chief."
Hijikata finds out about Gintoki's side job — which is both a blessing, and a goddamn curse.
