Gray blew out a long breath and let himself slide to the polished floor of the dark halls of the museum. He let himself recall Black Sheep’s voice, her shining eyes as she excitedly told him of her desire to visit this museum, this city. This world.
Well, she was doing a good job of that now, wasn’t she? Except that it was without him. The lamb had grown into a cunning red fox, shedding the innocence of her sheltered youth and Grey along with it. Wasn’t it her who’d shared her want to see the world with him?
Grey barely resisted shoving his hand in his hair and pulling hard. What kind of lovesick fool had he become? Aching for the scarlet woman who had long carved a seat in his heart, even during the time he knew not the extent of his feelings. Even when she had been but a girl, and he had been but a greedy boy, reaching for the control that had always managed to slip from his fingers as a child.
AU in which Gray doesn't have his memory erased. I changed the timeline of when Shadowsan joins Team Red a little bit but I mostly stayed withing the canon timeline. Set a year after Black Sheep's defection. Lots of yearning.

Summary
It had been months since Gray had last seen her.
Casablanca had changed him, in a way, both emotionally and physically. There's only so many shocks someone can withstand before their brains starts to get a little loopy. That image of Carmen, power in-hand, her unforgiving goodbye, remained one of the few memories that hadn't been tainted by all that had happened recently. There she was, though, months later, sitting on a rooftop overlooking the Sydney Harbour. Thankfully, she no longer appeared as sinister as she had in their last meeting.
She was right there. So present. So tangible. All he had to do was reach out, and she'd face him again. He couldn't do it, though. He'd made that decision to no longer complicate her life, and he wouldn't go back on it.
But just looking at her, sitting there, it was too difficult to resist. He couldn't help the words as they slipped out.
"You're in my seat."

When Padawan Commander Ahsoka Tano was put on trial, charged with sedition against both the Jedi Order or the Galactic Republic for her alleged role in the bombing of the Jedi Temple hangar, those closest to her never believed her guilty. Even when she was cast out of the Jedi Order and stripped of her status as both Padawan and Commander, Captain Rex and the 501st never once doubted her innocence. So when, after being cleared of all charges, Ahsoka Tano chose to leave the Jedi Order and follow her own path, those closest to her couldn’t help but wonder – why would Barriss Offee frame and betray one of her best friends? And why would the Jedi Order, and more importantly, the Senate, believe Ahsoka responsible?
The answers they find will lead Captain Rex, Anakin Skywalker, and those around them to question everything – even the very nature of the Clone Wars itself.
