    “Jinu?” She says. Jinu makes a wordless, halfhearted noise of acknowledgment. “Jinu, please use your words. Is this okay?”

    “Yes.” No hesitation. She’s not even sure he breathes.

    Rumi notices that Jinu gets a bit distracted when she draws her sword around him. One thing leads to another and now they’re introducing it in the bedroom.
