Bilbo inspects the Arkenstone, and finds it quite pretty. Because it is not something glorious to behold, and he feels no kingly power exuding from it. The Heart of the Mountain and all he feels is a slight urge to wave it in Lobelia’s face and stick his tongue out at her because she would never have such a pretty rock.
Until, that is, he is sat watching with a disbelieving fascination, as a single, large crack suddenly runs down the side of the gem.
Oh, dear. Thorin is not going to be pleased.

His life is peculiar but he wouldn't change a thing. When he gets booked for the big Wayne Halloween party, however, he finds himself getting all tangled up with the Waynes, and the more fortunes he tells, the tighter the snare becomes.or: Tim just wanted to scam Gotham's elite, not end up on the Batfamily's watchlist. Meanwhile, Jason finds himself as the male lead of a game he has never played. The system in his head is telling him that the only way home is to achieve a happy ending with his fiancé.
So we have a Danny who is desperately trying to end his engagement and a Jason who is trying to woo his fiancé (and cursing the original male lead - because the guy must have done something horrible for his cute and nice fiancé to be desperate to break up with him.)
