Robby returns to the PTMC a month after the apocalypse started with plans to end it all, but then he meets a would-be med student who’s been stuck there since the beginning, and his plans soon change.
Dennis gets saved by a bearded man who would have been his attending in another life, so now he has to navigate this new world filled with zombies for the first time. And try his best not to fall too hard for the straight doctor double his age…
OR: a road-trip fic disguised as a zombie AU where the boys get to know each other, find meaning in life when death is all around, and inevitably fall in love.

Cue Whitaker going home with Robby, tasked with the mission to keep him there until Abbot is able to come to the rescue.

Summary
After a less than lucky encounter with a witch, Dean is thrown back in time to 2008. Not only that, but he's also thrown into his younger self's body. Not knowing what to do, or how to get back, he decides to play along with what he thinks he did the first time around. Luckily, he's not the only one from the future. Cas is in the same boat, and they decide to do things right this time around; stop the apocalypse before it begins.
But changing the future is tricky business, and keeping it a secret from everyone else is hard when your brother knows you too well and you're in a time where descripting your relationship with said brother as having 'trust issues' doesn't even begin to cover it.
Will Dean and Cas save the world? And if they do, what will it cost them?

After Buck narrowly avoided falling to his death by somehow ending up mostly unharmed in a cave, he and Jack have become close. Weirdly so, according to Eddie.
While Eddie tries to figure out what Buck's deal is, he also ends up getting hooked on a particular book-series about monsters, urban legends, and two brothers with a missing father.
Things go from there.

“Don’t come any closer."
The man stops his approach. “Or you’ll… throw a book at me?”
The stranger’s eyes follow the chain from Dean’s ankle to the wall and then centers back to him and the book. He can practically hear the guy thinking something like, ‘what good is a book gonna do you when you’re chained up like an animal?’
“Are you gonna kill me?” Dean hesitantly looks up. It’s a little disorienting to be met with the biggest kicked-puppy-eyes he’s ever seen before. He didn’t expect that sort of expression on the face of someone who was choking a guy to death a few minutes ago.

After getting kicked out from home, Dean lives on the streets selling himself to survive, only to get kidnapped and imprisoned. His savior comes in the form of a man murdering his kidnapper. Not wanting to go back to his lonely, homeless life, he seeks out this mysterious stranger to try and find somewhere he can belong.
Or: Dean is saved by Cas. Cas doesn't want anyone to find out he's a serial killer, so he tries his best to stay hidden. Dean follows him anyway.

Castiel Novak lives a quiet life as a high school biology teacher. One night after being convinced to go to a bar with his brother Gabriel, he meets a man named Dean. Though their night is cut short they still have a good time, and Castiel can't seem to get Dean out of his head. Especially when Monday morning comes and he finds out Dean is his new student.
Dean Winchester's life has never been easy, but that's the way it is for hunters. He travels with his dad and brother and a case with some sneaky vamps lands them in a rented town house and an enrollment to the local high school where he finds out the hot man from the bar is his teacher.
