Marcy Wu is twenty-three years old and just months away from receiving her master's degree. The path ahead looks bright, but occasionally she can't stop herself from looking back and feeling a twinge of melancholy for the things she's lost. The friends she's lost. Ten years is a long time, but there are some things that endure much longer.

Based off of Missakat's Vampire!Marcy AU, an outside-canon AU in which Marcy makes a bad decision and pays the price. Thanks to Missa for letting me post this, and also for coming up with this in the first place with their genius brain.
Rated teen and up for a concerning amount of blood, it's not that big of a deal tho.

"All the people on the sidewalk shy away from her, but Marcy understands why. She knows what she must look like right now – a ratty teen in black pants and a hoodie, traversing LA all on her own, and if they got close enough, they could see her face. Marcy can only imagine what her face looks like right now: deathly pale, probably, and more haggard than it had ever looked before. She turns to glance at her reflection in a shop window, and then she realizes that she literally can only imagine what she looks like, because her reflection doesn’t exist. In the mirrored image of the street, it’s like she simply isn’t there."

"Listen.” Mira huffed. “We just want a vacation man. Can you like, at least give us a break until the new year?”
The hiatus was supposed to be simple, it was supposed to be fun! Instead, when a new breed of demon attempts to attack HUNTR/X, Mira jokes and the demon takes her request a little too literally. Throwing the trio into a void and displacing them by 26 years, to a time when the Sunlight Sisters were at the peak of their popularity.
Maybe the Saja Boys were just proving that history repeats itself.
