Trigger was an odd drug. Kurogiri had often pondered what effects it would have on his own quirk. Maybe it would allow him to make more portals? Increase the size of them? Who knows.
Though, he'd always imagined that he would test it in a sterile lab with someone to interfere if anything undesirable happened if he ever decided to pursue that train of thought.
He never wouldn't have wanted it to happen in a gang fight.
Or: Shirakumo just wants to keep to himself and do his vigilante gig on the side, but a certain hero won't leave him alone.

Almost done with what’s on Ao3, this is so well written and so interesting, every chapter has something new going on that isnt overwhelming and everything is very easy to track
Worldbuilding w/ unique routes taken in plot compared to canon, cannot reccomend enough 🙏

Summary
Your eye is then drawn by movement in your periphery, and when you look up you see the mannequins are now swaying slightly. Some of them seem to be pushed by some sort of breeze that you can't feel, but others are almost writhing, wooden limbs moving unnaturally as though the inanimate objects were feeling pain. Professor Sharp looks upwards as well, his grip tightening a bit on your shoulder in what you think is meant to be a comforting way, though Professor Sharp seems to be a bit out of practice when it comes to comforting gestures considering how firm his hold is.
