I love jealous Alastor~
To the utter surprise of both Lucifer—who had been watching the near-brawl with an expression of exhaustion—and the Duke, Alastor did release Frederick. However, the moment the physical restraint was gone, the shadow tendril, thin as a whipcord and quick as a striking viper, shot up. It struck the bottom of the crystal tumbler with a sharp, clinking impact, instantly upending the glass and dumping its entire contents down the front of the Duke's exquisite suit.
The dark mixed drink splattered across the impeccably tailored, charcoal-grey frock coat, immediately darkening the fine, pristine fabric and soaking the stiff, ivory-silk waistcoat beneath. The entire Old Fashioned—with its heavy, sticky sugared cranberries, melting, amber-tinted ice, and pungent, bruised rosemary garnish—cascaded down Frederick’s chest like a viscous, brown, alcoholic waterfall. The sweet, heavy aroma of liquor and spice instantly permeated the air. Those in attendance—the assembled sinners, Overlords, and other curious onlookers who had gathered in a tight, silent circle to watch the spectacle—collectively gasped, a sound that cracked the tension like breaking glass.

This was really beautiful and extremely well written! Such a lovely depiction of healing and processing trauma and the bond formed between two people recovering! I also loved the way Alastor’s aversion to touching and Lucifer’s desire for touch was handled in such a wonderful way! Seeing the developments of their relationship and the fic progressed was a such lovely experience! They’re so adorable and in love, I love them sooo much! (Fuck you Vox.) 🖤❤️🍎❤️🖤

Summary

It’s miserably *human* to get attached to things. Disgustingly, revoltingly human. If Alastor could tear it out of himself he would, but it’s hard cutting through roots that have had years to grow strong and fester.
Perhaps he should have brought more than a knife to the bark of a tree.

This is absolutely amazing! A wonderful AU, re-imagining, and personal take on the Hazbin Hotel series, specifically on the first meeting between Lucifer (and Charlie) and Alastor!! 📻🍎💫
Aside from being incredibly well written and accurate when it comes to the characterization of the characters, the plot itself is so unique and interesting! I loved the way Alastor’s POV was written, it truly felt like taking a peek into Mr. Radio Demon’s brain. I loved how his relationship with Lucifer (and Charlie) begun and how it slowly blossomed into something so deep, personal, and beautiful!! 🖤🎶🌹❤️
Although it makes me so sad that this beautiful story isn’t completed, it truly was such a lovely treat to read! Thank you very much for this wonderful work of art! 🖤❤️🍎❤️🖤

"ALASTOR, JUST LEAVE!" Lucifer screamed, horns growing from his head, tail swiping angrily across the sheets. His voice ricocheted ducks off the shelves, piling all over the floor. He watched as the commotion knocked one of his family portraits off the wall, hitting the ground with a loud smash. Shards of glass surrounded the door, portrait bending against the frame. Tears began welling up at the sight of the semi-ruined portrait of him, Lilith, and Charlie.
"S-Shit," Lucifer cursed to himself and sat up fully to look around at the mess of his room. His tears messily flowed down his face as he stepped out of bed, walking over to inspect the portrait. Of course this happened to him. All he does is fuck up anything he interacts with.
He began picking up the shards of glass. The prescience of Alastor was still strong behind the door, but Lucifer didn’t care enough anymore to do anything about the prick.
"May I come in, Lucifer?" Alastor's voice seemed soft, losing the radio feedback it usually held.
___Alastor offers to help Lucifer with his wings, but it leads to something a little bit more...sensual.
