Ever since spring break, Eddie has lost his way. Tired and broken, he suppresses any and all curiosity so that he can concentrate on healing after the crushing events in the Upside Down.
Steve, on the other hand, seems determined to befriend him, and in the face of his confession that the golden boy of Hawkins is a werewolf turned by demodogs, Eddie will need to confront what it means to be a monster and decide how far he will embrace it to protect the ones he loves.

Summary
“Wait,” Steve grabs Eddie's hand before he flies away. “Stay?” His eyes are worn and a hint of fear shimmers underneath.
“This is really scary,” he admits. “I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t know when I’ll suddenly disappear. Maybe I’ll just disappear for good? It’d be nice if there was someone familiar around. Plus,” Steve adds with a weary grin, “you were probably busy before I intruded.”
In 1984, Eddie finds himself in front of a rugged version of the preppy jock he’s only peripherally aware of at school. Compelled by Steve's tale of time travel, Eddie invites him to hide in his trailer until he can return to his proper place and time in 1986.

Summary
Strong arms wrap around him, bringing the broad planes of Steve’s chest against Eddie’s back, blunt fingers coming up to grip his jaw, directing Eddie’s lips to just under Steve’s.
"I’m saying,” Steve says patiently, eyeing Eddie with a dark gaze over his firm grip, "That I want you. Not Brittany or Betta or Betsy."

Summary
Two stories with similar beats but told in a different way. Steve was turned into a werewolf by the demodogs, yes.
But where Swift Wings is light and fluffy, Rising Sun more thoroughly explores the same circumstance with a darker tone and more involved plot.
Events, characters, and even shapeshifting will differ between the stories.

Summary
After Madame Hydra and Alistair Fitz inadvertently bring about their own ends, Jemma strives to remain optimistic as the team is forced to continue their virtual lives. Even if her best mate is reckless enough to get entangled with the faux Grant Ward, Simmons refuses to be distracted from their mission by the increasingly interested Leopold Fitz. It shouldn’t be hard to resist him. After all, Jemma Simmons is still a rational top scientist, and the Doctor is just the Absolute Worst™ in a three piece suit.
“Because we do fit together, we are unique puzzle pieces. It's the truth, the truest certainty in the universe,” Fitz concluded with a beautiful yearning in his eyes. “Even after everything that happened in that reality, I chose you. I’ll choose you every time.”Series

Bookmarker's Notes
Ch12!
Top AoS fanfic of all.Up to: Fitz coerced Jemma to kill the Will/kidnapper character. Big upset. The building's been invaded, but survived. They've had a decent discussion rather than just letting adrenalin settle their differences. Skye's acting weird and hasn't called J back in a week. Also brief fitzing out moments like the FW was fitzing out.
Daisy behind invasion. Jemma has cut ties. J has discovered she does love F, obvs reciprocated and he called it first. F pushing for her to move in to his suite. J has been given a presentation slot at the next Boardmeeting of Baddies.
Ding Dong Hamilton is taken down by J's presentation POWERPOINT. He's up for torture under the charge of betrayal and being a shit CEO.
JF did the deed; J's body may have been a virgin. Starting to get feels for how they'll react once they've escaped the FW.
F ghosted J. J broke it off when he tried to do 'a break.' J & Skye are reunited, boil lanced. F probably thinks J is doing the do with Tripp. And J took over Hamilton's CEO position.c20

Summary
Draco Malfoy is a—self-described—reformed man, ten years after the war. He’d worked hard to muddle through his mistakes, learn from his past and reckon with his future. Now the only thing left on his list is to apologize to Hermione Granger, who has so far refused to hear a word of it. Luckily, his Ministry-mandated community service hours have finally brought him to her department, which makes this his best chance at reconciliation. And he's not going to blow it.
“Granger,” Draco looked up from the papers in his hands and was met with a stony look. “It’s clear you’d prefer I was not here.” He kept his tone even and conversational.
“We needed the help,” Hermione said as she side-stepped the implication.
“And I am here to help. I’ve requested to complete service hours in your department for—”
“Five years. I’m aware. I’ve denied it every time. This is not a department that I want your influence in. But we are desperate for help leading up to program season and you were my only option. That is why you’re here.”
Ouch. He felt the slice of her words, but drew in a breath through his nose with a singular nod to lighten their impact. "Then I will get to my paperwork.”
