Thirteen months after the Final War, Aizawa Shouta is offered a job by the HPSC: to pick up a rehabilitated (and allegedly reformed) Shigaraki Tomura, now going by his birth name Shimura Tenko, from a remote facility in Hokkaido and drive him all the way to Shizuoka. He’s also saddled with three of his students, because according to All Might, this is what counts as practice now. Shouta might not immediately accept that Shimura has turned over a new leaf, despite what doctors or authorities have to say, but as the kilometers pass, the two former enemies begin to find some common ground.

Hawks saw this assignment for what it was: An opportunity. He’s been going around in circles trying to find a way to escape, and everything leads to the same thing: recalibration training at best, and a slow death at the hands of the commission at worst. They are not expecting him to survive, he just needs to play that to his favor. He has never given the Commission a reason to doubt his loyalties, he can’t afford to unless he knows he’ll come out on the other side. So until then, he'll keep pretending everything is fine, that the food he eats doesn't taste like saw dust, that everything isn't dull around him and that he isn't so achingly lonely that he would do just about anything to feel like he belonged.Series

Occasionally, people’s names wouldn’t match up. It wasn’t common, and the only cases Buck had ever personally heard of had involved literal criminals, but it did happen. The other option– well. Either Buck was secretly a killer without knowing about it, or Eddie had taken one look at him and decided he wanted nothing to do with him.

Summary
Eddie moves before Buck can blink—one smooth, unhesitating motion. His hands find Buck’s waist first, then slide lower, bracing under his thighs as he lifts. The world tilts, and for a second Buck feels weightless, the heat of Eddie’s palms searing through denim, the strength behind it dizzying against Buck’s already crumbling composure.
Then the counter meets him—cool beneath his thighs even through the fabric—Eddie’s hands leaving heat in their wake like a brand. Eddie’s still standing close enough that Buck’s knees frame him, not backing away immediately. His breath grazes Buck’s chest, eyes flicking up, the space between them charged with something that makes every cell in Buck’s body scream more, more, more.
“Now sit,” Eddie says firmly, hands still resting under Buck’s legs before he finally backs away. “Stay.”

In actuality, when the two groups combine it's an absolute nightmare for the managers to try to clean up afterwards and Bobby does not get paid enough.

He’s in a good place right now, and Buckley is jumping feet first into extremely choppy waters. If the stars align and they find themselves back in each other’s orbit, then fine. They’re big boys and can do what they want. But I am not going to be the one to kick the can back down the road. Those two assholes have to figure it out for themselves.”
Buck transfers into the 122, under the captaincy of Sal Deluca. Sal and Lucy make the decision to not tell Tommy this detail.
