Summary
Fate is a harsh and cruel mistress that will eventually and inevitably deal the worst hand to everyone. No one is immune to the peaks and valleys of life. Friendships, families, entire societies are torn asunder by the ticking clock of time as the world constantly churns and changes. Sunny of course was just another hapless victim in the vast cosmic game of dice. A game with winners and losers, a game of cruelty, and above all else a game of ceaseless unending cyclical suffering.
But what if someone were to rig the game in their favor? Can one person alone circumvent fate?
Nonsense. A mathematical impossibility.
The only form of comfort one can have in such a scenario is the fact that they are not alone. Six intrepid heroes become united under the banner of fixing the past. Will their crusade throughout the multiverse bring about the happy ending they long for, or will they succumb to the knowledge that the best way to win the game of life is to have never played it at all?
