“You want me…?” Giyuu repeats, trying to process what Sanemi has just said. “As your mate?”
He never thought that would be the compromise for Sanemi’s army. It is not that he does not find himself to be a desirable omega, but surely, there are better options. Of course, Giyuu is currently Sabito’s heir, but that will change once Sabito has children of his own.
To be chosen by someone as powerful and handsome as Sanemi, it makes Giyuu’s face flush a deep red.
or, Giyuu is sent north to secure Lord Shinazugawa's army at any cost for his brother's fight for the throne. He will do whatever it takes not to fail his brother.

Summary
"Zanka doesn't know when it began. There was a lingering feeling in the air, a faint smell of iron, like he was actively being haunted by something, someone. An unsettling feeling drooped in his stomach, hollowing him from the inside out. It had become familiar in a sort of twisted way.
He questioned it, of course; at first, at least. But he never detected anyone following him, and nobody else understood his concerns, so he simply blamed his heightened senses from a lifetime of training. Everything on the ground could smell of iron, since there was so much trash.
And he couldn't quite tell what it would be, if not the pollution mixed with the environment. The smell was a little dizzying at times, when it got stronger, leaving him somewhat dazed for a couple of seconds. But it happened rarely, and it was easy to ignore. Maybe the sleepless nights were catching up to him?"
aka Zanka gets his life saved by his stalking-inclined masochistic rival, and confronting him goes awfully off the rails.

Summary
Giyuu rushed into their room at the inn and shoved their things back into their bags as fast as he could, grabbing their swords from where they’d hidden them for safekeeping.
He nearly tripped since he had an impatient, possessive alpha plastered to his back, demanding attention, and when he didn’t get it, he licked at Giyuu’s nape with sloppy laps of his tongue. Sanemi’s arms were around him, pulling him close while he whispered some of the dirtiest things in Giyuu’s ear, grin sharp and mean whenever Giyuu blushed.
The entire journey home, Sanemi stayed buried in Giyuu’s neck, breathing in his scent and occasionally sucking on the omega’s scent glands, scraping his teeth over them just to be mean and make Giyuu weak in the knees. It was pure luck that they only passed by people they didn’t know and were waved off as newlyweds still stuck in the sweet phase of their mating

Summary
Tomioka Giyuu has already written his ending. Every mission is a countdown, every sunrise borrowed time he never asked for. He carries the weight of the dead like stones in his pockets, resigning himself to repaying that debt the only way he knows how: by meeting the death he should have met years ago. He walks into battle like he's walking into the ocean: calm, purposeful, with no intention of coming back up for air.
Sanemi Shinazugawa wasn't supposed to notice. Wasn't supposed to care. But there's something about the way Giyuu takes hits he could dodge, the way his eyes stay distant even in victory, the way he speaks about himself like he's already a ghost. It pisses Sanemi off because he recognizes it; that quiet resignation of someone who's decided they don't deserve to be saved.
So Sanemi does something stupid: well, he tries. He picks fights to keep Giyuu sharp. Shows up uninvited. Watches his blind spots. And somewhere along the way, irritation becomes devotion. He's fighting not just demons but Giyuu's guilt, his conviction that he's already dead.

The room stilled—not silent, but attentive. Sanemi’s eyes locked on Giyuu’s bandaged arm.
“You gonna tell us why your sleeve’s bled through,” Sanemi growled, “or do you want me to guess?”
Giyuu met his gaze. Calm. Controlled. A few of the other Hashira glanced over, not surprising—Sanemi’s confrontations were rarely quiet.
Giyuu straightened. “I was careless,” he answered simply. Methodically.
Sanemi scoffed. “Careless? You?” He took a step forward, closing the distance between them with that sharp, storm-like presence of his.
“You’re annoyingly precise to a fault. You don’t just get ‘careless.’ So try again.”He reached out—not touching Giyuu, but close enough that the warmth of his hand brushed through the air between them. Too close. Giyuu’s breath caught, his pulse tripping over itself, his skin tightening with a prickling awareness.

Summary
Jabber Wonger never fit into the Ground University’s polished world of legacy students and people who put on a strict front. Though he never had to try too hard on school either. His genius was effortless and natural in contrast to his outlandish demeanor, which stuck out like a sore thumb.
Zanka Nijiku’s had been born in the suffocating life that is defined entirely by the expectations he can never quite reach. The discipline that protected and lead his older siblings into reaching the Nijiku family's standards had betrayed him, because they had the genius that Zanka lacked. He'd grown to obsess over looking effortless to others as he'd work twice as hard in the background. Hard work grants bountiful rewards, that's how it should be.
Jabber's vivid magenta eyes could notice too much, reach too deep, and linger long enough for unease to settle. And when that natural genius becomes fixated on Zanka, singularly on him and only him, the line between reason and possession becomes thin. The obsession spirals and tangles into both their contrasting lives, tying the two together.
