Summary
If your home was no longer as it was, would you notice? A jacket mislaid here. A single blind a bit off kilter from the rest. And a lighter reappearing on your nightstand. One you hadn't even thought about in years. The yellowed image of a woman smiling up at you as flint grinds steel?
What about when your own mind begins to fester and rot? Time and memories oozing out at a steady pace. If you shake your head you swear you can feel it slosh around in there.
Would you worry then? Checking yourself for a fever that was never there. And when you pressed your trembling fingers to your ears would you be relieved to see nothing there? Or would seeing only the dry skin of each one only make it worse?
To feel the liquid trail down the side your neck and soak into your shirt. Yet with no way to prove it.
How much is too much? Where is your line? Do you even know? Would you want to?
Because when JD got home today he discovered his scrubs were stained. His hair is a mess. He doesn't know how he got here. It's hard to breathe. And, if he didn't know any better, he'd say that as he stares into the darkness before him now he's swear he could almost see something staring right back.

There was no one around, but it was still outside and it set Finn's nerves on fire. He gasped each time they parted for air, only for Mash to steal his lips back in an instant. He figured, since Mash was so well built, that he didn't need to breathe and only offered small sips of air for Finn’s safety.
Geez, safety? It's not like Mash would ever hurt Finn. All things considered, he was surprisingly gentle despite his overwhelming strength. It made Finn feel a little guilty about wanting to… explore that strength.

Summary
He swallowed, remembering that exact feeling of JD pressed up against him. The image was nice, until he remembered those hands shoving and rejecting, the familiar wounded and disgusted look he wore. He had hoped to God to never have that look directed at him.
He shouldn't of done it - any of it. He shouldn't of let the guilt eat at him, he shouldn't of showed up drunk, and he definitely shouldn't of tried to find salvation in the one person he couldn't have.

Or, my take of My Fallen Idol where it's a lot darker and Perry finally gets help for his addiction.
