Summary
The Gotei 13 is launching an operation in Hueco Mundo, again. As usual, Ichigo is skipping class to be there. Unsure of which world he wants to belong to, haunted by what happened in Las Noches, Ichigo is going through the motions of helping the Gotei 13 prepare for war and search for the remaining Espada.
When he finds Ulquiorra Cifer, whole and enigmatic and as beautiful has he remembered him, Ichigo cannot stay away. Slowly, they explore the ways that both of them have changed. And as they unravel their past together, two half-monsters find the beginning that was lost at the end of their fight.

It’s almost not really a hug so much as it is a cling, Naruto’s heels hitting Sasuke’s lower back, arm wrapping around Sasuke’s shoulders tightly. The shock of Naruto scrambling over onto his hospital bed isn’t enough to make the tears stop slipping down his cheeks, and he doesn’t have enough energy to truly resist – not that he truly wants to.
