Summary
In a moment of lucidity, Nat had a thought. It would almost be comedic, if not for the sheer seriousness of the implications. “Y’know how- oh, fuck vampires can’t come inside ahh without permission?” Nat spoke, still riding Lottie into the bed. “Yeah?” Lottie replied slowly, confused. “Well, you’re not allowed to,” Nat smirked.
When Lottie turns into a vampire, the only person she knows to go to is Nat, who agrees to let her feed. Little do either of them know, vampire saliva has aphrodisiac properties, which leads to something further. Although, it's a shame that Lottie forgot the cardinal rule of vampirism: they can't come in if they aren't allowed...

Summary
Enjoys the tales of various zookeepers in a world where monsters are both animals and sometimes sentient. They do live in nature, but a lot of them live in zoos for humans to gawk at, as plenty of these species of monsters are endangered. Plenty more reason for them to indulge their libidos, usually with the keepers assigned to take care of them.

“Well, that little gay pixie out there just had her hand in your back pocket,” The landlord says, hands on her hips. “You sure you two aren’t a couple?”
“No, we’re just best friends. Roommates now, too.”
The landlord sighs and flips over the white paper in her hand. “Well, as you would have read, you can’t get the discount on rent, then. It’s for married couples only.”
“The discount?” Shauna murmurs, the zeros on her student debt screaming at her in her head. “How much?”
“Half the advertised rent price.”
Oh. Shauna thinks, then gulps.
Oh.
“I was only joking,” She blurts out, symptomatic of disconnect between mouth and brain. “We are. A married couple—yeah. Me and Jackie are married.”
Or, an AU where Shauna suddenly realises there are a few benefits to people mistaking her and her roommate/long-term best friend Jackie for a married couple, which Jackie would totally understand her indulging in, right? If only she told Jackie what she was telling people about them, that is.
Or, nine times people mistake Jackie and Shauna for a married couple, and the one time they realise they actually are one.

“Yes! I don’t know how she wears shit like that and expects not to be laughed at.”
“Oh my God, she’s such a dyke.”
Shauna freezes. Technically she hasn’t moved since she got into this position, but her muscles tense up like springs, ready at a moment’s notice to fight or flight. She forces herself to calm down because she doesn’t even know who they’re talking about. Is it a horrible thing to say? Yeah, but it’s not surprising. Shauna’s heard the same prejudice from Mr. Taylor’s mouth enough to be a little desensitized to it. Whoever they were bitching about, it’s ultimately none of her business.
“I bet Van only joined soccer to be in the girl’s locker room,” they snickered.
Oh. They were talking about Van. Scratch that—it is Shauna’s business.
Or
Five times Shauna stands up for her teammates and one time they do the same for her.
