“And how do you intend to endure this heat alone inside my tower? Amidst my army and war captains,” asked the wizard, making clear his mockery of the man’s vulnerability and weakness.
Gríma swallowed hard. His pride told him to resist, but reality was making things difficult for him.
“I can leave without any trouble,” the advisor lowered his head, his hands clutching the sleeves of his cloak.
Saruman watched for a moment and then took half a step forward, closing the distance between them even further.

The room was illuminated by the sun that crossed the window making shine on the curtains. On the bed, the young Mathilde was lying, the shiny brown hair spread on the pillow, the face pale but calm. When she heard the creak of the door, she lifted a little the head observing the husband entering.
"Shhh do not wake the baby"murmured the woman, taking a finger to the lips.
Paul stopped in the middle of the room, for an instant he stayed motionless, trying to understand what he had just heard. The mind, slow by the alcohol, seemed to take a moment to fit the word.

Time passed, and the khalasar continued its relentless march across the sea of sand. The dry wind blew against the long lines of riders, and the sound of hooves and steel was like the constant beating of a wild heart. Viserys could no longer hide his pregnancy. His belly, once concealable beneath loose fabrics, was full and heavy, declaring to all the truth that already ran in whispers between the tents. The dragon was with child.
The handmaids helped him down from his horse and to walk, while Rhaego, that half-horse, half-human creature, did not leave his side, like a shadow.
But suddenly, without any warning, a battle erupted.
Drogo’s khalasar clashed against a rival group that had dared challenge their passage. Spears gleamed in the sun, war cries echoed across the field, and the sand turned red. The air grew thick with dust and the scent of blood.

When the guitarist turned around, he came face to face with Pelle standing in the doorway. The blond gripped the sleeve of his coat tightly, as if it were an anchor. An almost childish gesture, but loaded with importance.
“What the fuck do you want, Pelle,” Øystein snapped, still boiling with rage.
Pelle took a deep breath, trying to form words. Norwegian was still a minefield for him.
“My pads ran out… could you buy more for me,” the blond said softly, the Norwegian in his mouth sounding strange.
A heavy silence followed, born from a lack of full understanding. Øystein frowned, genuinely lost.

Summary
The car bounced along the Norwegian road while Øystein watched his friends laugh at something stupid. The sound was loud, disorganized, far too young. They were young. Naive. And that, now, meant everything.
Mayhem was still nothing.
Not yet.
“Dead, Transylvania,” Necrobutcher read, holding a yellowed envelope with two fingers as if it were contagious.
“What’s that smell?” Hellhammer grumbled.
“What the fuck is this?” the bassist said, opening the yellow, crumpled envelope.
Øystein already knew exactly what was coming next, and the smile on his face grew effortlessly, almost proud.
The letter was opened, and inside Necrobutcher saw a dead rat, pierced by a small cross. The smell was immediate, aggressive, ripping a loud curse from the boy.
“Ah, shit,” Necrobutcher pressed his fist to his nose, holding back bile.
“What is it?” a curious Hellhammer asked.
The bassist then pulled out the dead rat and showed it to the drummer.
“Fuck, that’s disgusting, man,” the young drummer grimaced.
