She doesn’t intend to stay in Beacon Hills for one second but something in her gut makes her stay.

Summary
Lydia wakes up in a strange bed, in an unfamiliar world, and everyone keeps insisting she's a princess. Confused and disoriented, she has no memory of how she got there and no idea what that place even is, until she is met with the hauntingly familiar face of Éomer of Rohan. Lydia grapples with being stuck in someone else’s life, bound by a future she didn't choose, all the while being forced to navigate a world that couldn’t be more different from her own.
Her growing attraction to the fiercely protective and keen-eyed Horse-lord, tasked to take her on the long journey to Edoras to marry his cousin, only makes things more complicated, of course.Rated E for detailed but tasteful smut chapters in the later portion of the story.
Graphic depictions of violence only concerns one very short dream sequence in chapter 24, and MCD is about Théodred as per the canon.

Summary
Fíriel of Gondor made a fatal error: she refused the hand of Boromir, the Captain-General.
As punishment, the Steward Denethor has sold her to the North. She is to be the price of a new alliance with the Horse Lords. A bride for the Prince of Rohan to secure cavalry for the coming war.
But when Fíriel arrives at the wind-scoured hill of Edoras, she finds the Golden Hall rotting from within. The King is withered, the prince is absent, and the snake Gríma Wormtongue has altered the deal. Fíriel is not to be a Princess. She is to be pawned off on the King’s disgraced nephew: Éomer, the Third Marshal.
She is a lady of silk and high walls who prizes order. He is a warrior of wool and leather who smells of the stables.
