Summary
Danny wasn't sure what to do with his life (Half-life? Death?) anymore, but maybe the joining Justice League will be just what he needs.
Now Danny just has to overcome Batman's paranoia and show him that he's more than a sassy, overpowered entity, fight off Wonder Woman's worry, and deal with Superman's cowardice. Luckily Flash is pretty cool, even if he can't keep a secret.
What's that, oh now there are ghost attacks... Great, guess it's his problem now. And here comes his unresolved trauma knocking on the door along with his hero complex and a boatload of guilt. Sure, being Ghost King is a lot, along with being a superhero, but surely things will work themselves out. All Danny can do is hope that things don't blow up in the process.credits for the inspiration of this little intro to the amazing commenter Dandelion_Blues, who sent me a little thing that turned into this. A missing 15 year old, never found, presumed dead. The idea of it chilled anyone to the bone, but especially an ex-Robin.
Ever since his core fractured, Danny just wanted to control his new compulsions and avoid melting into ecto like his clone (sister), but the GIW and two random vigilantes wouldnt leave him alone!

With a brief, yet vague explanation of ghosts, ectoplasm, and something called the GIW, the boy - self-proclaimed Phantom - vanishes.
Tim launches himself into research, discovering a plethora of new revelations into ghosts and the spirits that reside within and alongside their world. Some a little closer to home than others. As Tim and his family continue to search for answers, they'll discover government coverups, magic beyond even the knowledge of Justice League Dark, and a town that tows the border of life and death.
Meanwhile, Danny Fenton is having the time of his half-life at Gotham U, balancing engineering classes with his kingly duties in the Infinite Realms. But when Phantom ends up on the Bats' radar, his delicate balance might be upset entirely. But then again, Danny Fenton has never been one to retreat from trouble. And he certainly isn't about to start when it comes in the form of one very attractive Tim Drake-Wayne.

Because of course the dead don’t sleep, wouldn’t that be silly!

Summary
It should have been fun and easy, Young Justice back together again even if Tim was Red Robin rather than Robin now. They were only chasing a weak magician, but they didn't know enough about what he was after. The Staff of the Oneiroi was far more powerful than they imagined and soon half of the team was down, asleep and nothing would wake them.
Danny was given an interesting proposal. Help Nocturn retrieve some mystical item from the living realm, a version of Earth with no anti-ecto acts or GIW. Clockwork surprisingly agreed it was a good idea, the object too powerful to be left with the living. Why was it always him being sent to find things?

John Constantine beat the system of life and death until it fully refused to touch him anymore, and when it did, it never went well. It was a fact that the League had come to terms with, or those that knew, anyways. None of Constantine’s past could explain the kid in fuzzy pajamas that was curled up on a chair in the Justice League’s control room asking for the elusive brit.
Danny had barely made it to high school graduation only to be thrust into dealing with the millennia of bullshit waiting ever so patiently for the King of the Infinite Realms to look at. The fact that there was a weird amount of paperwork filed regarding some dude named John Constantine that looked like the weirdest form of tax fraud he’d ever seen was puzzling, and his parents committed that regularly. He has no idea what the hell he’s looking at.
Alternately: Danny is the inter-dimensional personification of the IRS for Death and the Unliving, and he just has a couple questions.

Danny wants nothing to do with any of it. He just wants to sell burgers and survive. Actually, he'd like to go home again, but since that isn't possible, he'll stick with burgers.
Gotham's vigilante's have other plans.
