It’s not until Saturday morning that Harry wanders back into her mind. Contrary to what Hermione may think, Parvati hasn’t been thinking solely of Harry for the past few years. Yes, she was sad when it ended with a hurried kiss and a promise of later but then there was a summer full of fear and fog and then there was Snape as Headmaster and Dean on the run and half of her classmates gone and torture at the hands of teachers and when all of this is happening it’s hard to focus on the sort of relationship she used to have with the boy at the centre of this whole thing.

Izuku flushed when he saw the photo Mei had sent. It wasn’t anything inappropriate but it felt… intimate. Her golden eyes were half-lidded with exhaustion and he lamented the fact that they weren’t open a little further - it would have been a great opportunity to examine them and guess at her quirk without rudely staring. She wore a long-suffering sleepy smile and a tank top - likely the one she'd worn under her uniform all day. Her pink hair spilled haphazardly over a rumpled pillowcase and Izuku wasn’t sure whether there seemed to be more hair than he remembered or whether it was just an illusion created by her supine position. The overall effect was that Izuku forgot to breathe for a moment as he took her in.

Summary
When Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwarts opens, the Ministry of Magic is a bureaucratic warzone. The Government has initiated "Asset Audits" to seize the estates of ancient houses, and Harry is their primary target.

Hermione can't... she can't work out their relationship. They seem comfortable with each other, their elbows are touching and Harry's hand is on Pansy’s knee, and there's something when they look at each other. No, she doesn't get it at all. When Harry stands to get the next round Pansy touches his arm and asks him to "get her a Gillywater, darling" and Harry nods, his hand brushing across the top of her head, the term of supposed endearment going unnoticed, as though it's used regularly. Hermione wonders what he calls her in return.
