Max is generally a little stubborn, but every now again he’s capable of admitting when he’s made a mistake.
Like now.
He’s in his kitchen, stirring a cup of bland tea that he won’t drink, when he realises how pointless this all is. It’s been two days since Spain but he misses George like a lost limb and he suspects George may miss him too.
There’s no need to deprive themselves of something so good just because they’ve indulged in the softer side of things a little too much. After all, everything is good in moderation.
Or: Max and George start hooking up in Qatar. When the hate-sex turns to something softer Max isn’t quite sure how to feel about it.

“Max seduced you?” Alex laughs incredulously. “Somehow I struggle to believe that.”
“Well he did. And now I think I’m kind of falling for him and I hate it. Help me.” George groans, lying back and sprawling out his limbs. It’s a little childish but he’s allowed to be dramatic about this- he’s falling in love with his rival.
“Okay, okay,” Alex soothes, probably sensing that George is about to go from playful theatrics to actual hysteria. “Well, do you think he might be developing feelings for you too?”
He thinks of staring at the outline of Max’s face as he said, ‘You could come find me. I’d look after you;’ he thinks of waking up in Max’s bed for the first time with the covers draped over his clean body; he thinks of Max’s firm, warm hand on his torso and ‘let me see you.’
And he nearly says yes.
Or. Max and George start hooking up in Qatar 2024. It's hate sex until it's not.

“You’ll be fine,” George says, happy to hear Kimi laughing again. “You two will be just like me and Max by the time you get to my age.”
They’re at a red light so he gets to watch in real time as Kimi’s face falls. His eyebrows pull together as his eyes fill with tears and then, much to George's horror, he starts crying.
“What’s wrong?” He asks, concerned. He thought the threat of tears was over.
“I don’t want me and Ollie to end up like you two,” he cries, bringing both hands up to cover his face.
This is all Max’s fault.

Hinata Shoyo is quite literally the embodiment of sunshine.
This is a well-known fact throughout the school, as well as the Karasuno Volleyball Team—the ginger is full of energy, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice, and always willing to support his teammates no matter the hurdles that stand in their way.
It's one of the many things Kageyama loves about his boyfriend, even if he struggles to convey it with words at times. Another thing he struggles with? Physical affection.
And despite his boyfriend being patient and understanding about all of this, it doesn't mean he isn't comfortable with showing his affections towards other people. Even if it gets under Kageyama's skin more than he'd like to admit.

Dabi looks at Hawks batting his lashes, sitting on the couch in his hideous Gucci sweater. Christ, Dabi can’t stop looking at it. It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”
Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.

yk after reading so many tsukkiyama fics I can confidently say this is the brand/flavour I love the most. Pining, tsukki being jealous and confused, yamaguchis girlfriend being like "bitch ur gay go get your man", kissing and ice cream, the 5+1 ish format, that guilt, kagehina being the guide for them and also idiots, hinata being surprisingly helpful in his own way that helps tsukki realize, just hinata and tsukki in general, need i go on??? 10000/10 -

There’s always anticipation in the words next time, but there is also always uncertainty. Tadashi has never been sure whether to believe in these sorts of future promises.
