Summary
In the aftermath of a disastrous Override incident, Ali is left emotionally shattered and ostracized by the very agents he once called comrades. With MATA viewing him as a liability, trust in him deteriorates — even as his intentions were never malicious. Once a rising star, Ali now walks the cold hallways of the Academy in silence, ignored, blamed, and broken.
His only friend left, Viktor — a civilian with no ties to MATA — begins to notice the changes: Ali's week-long absence, his growing silence, and deepening depression. Determined to uncover the truth, Viktor stumbles into the shadowed world of MATA and is determined to help Ali by becoming an agent himself.

“It’s rude to talk about people behind their backs, you know that, right, Gojo?” Toji’s voice is low and there’s something threatening about it, a rasp that makes Satoru imagine a sharp blade cutting through a piece of meat.
Satoru’s throat twists up in a knot. “I heard it’s even ruder to eavesdrop.”
Toji smirks. Satoru does not like it. He can’t read Toji, he can’t figure out what anything about him means as his gaze travels up his legs and meets his green eyes. Satoru doesn’t like the silence and the void coming from him.

Summary
Boggart yaos are deadly shapeshifters that scare their victims to death by taking the shape of their worst fears. Their true form has never been seen by anyone in recorded history…until now.
A post-canon Xicheng fic.
…"You wish to know why the boggart yao did not take on a form when it faced me?" he asks. "What should I have left to be afraid of, I wonder? Losing my parents, my siblings, my home? The shidis and shimeis I grew up with? Or should I fear failing my duty to my sect by remaining unmarried and heirless? Perhaps I should be scared of failing those I love the most."
He risks a glance towards Wei Wuxian and Jin Ling, and instantly regrets it. Wei Wuxian is in tears, and his nephew doesn't look a whole lot better. Breathing in deeply, Jiang Cheng looks at Lan Xichen instead, drawing strength from the steadiness of his presence.
"What form could a boggart yao take for me," he finishes, "when everything I ever feared has already come to pass?"

You’d feel absolutely cherished.” Yes, Tony had a lot of faults, but lack of dedication to a partner, when he actually had a partner—which, admittedly, had been rare—was not one of them.
“Oh good,” Wong said, hanging up the phone and handing it back to Tony. “You two can be a wonderful, devoted couple for the next year.” He clapped his hands together with a sense of dooming finality. “Congratulations on the marriage.”
