They once promised to follow each other to the ends of the Earth - and they do.A certain mishap occurs between Charlie Morningstar and the angels when they agree to give her a shot to prove the possibility of redemption and second chances. Instead of an appropriate representative, two of the most nefarious Overlords get dragged into the ordeal – the two least fit for redemption.
Alastor and Vox get resurrected by accident, and are forced to work in close proximity on Earth to get back. On the way, they might either mend or break what remains of their old friendship, something that both are to blame for.

Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.

Hell in person of Lucifer, Alastor and other nice inhabitants still can't reconcile with Heaven in person of Adam and others. In addition, new characters appear on the scene. After the difficult confrontation caused by the Death Note, they never settled down and don't mind entering a new game.
