    Summary

Astarion has been running for centuries. Surviving in a world that wants him, and others like him dead. The modern, radicalized Gur kill monsters on site, displaying their corpses as examples.

When he finds himself in the isolated, wooded town of Moonwood Valley, starvation and desperation drive him to a decision that may change the course of his life, for better or worse.

A foreboding forest that ensnares the unwary. A folkloric "Beast" the locals speak about in fearful whispers. And a strange recluse that is far more than meets the eye.

    Summary

Astarion should have died that night. In the story we know he did exactly that. Here, things went a little differently and he is very much alive.

However, healing magic has its limitations, and the Astarion who survived is markedly different from the one that fell to the Gur's clubs.

A month into recovery, he's still coming to terms with his loss of independence. Bedbound, partially mute, and being cared for by the same person who saved him in the first place: his mother. Apparently her adventuring days didn't fully end, even after decades of playing at being a proper Upper City wife.

Even worse, soon his beloved father decides caring for Astarion is a waste of time and resources, and tries to convince his mother to send him to... somewhere, anywhere, else.

It's amazing, what you start to notice when you're forced to stop and pay attention to people not named Astarion. So many aspects of his world and family, he now sees all too clearly. Out of the one eye that still works, anyway.

    Summary

"New round here, right? Living down here in the Discards is hard enough without the shit-storm of winter and all it brings. You a Psion? I'll sell you some suppressors. Trade you for a battery. Wait - you got some food? Gave my last to that Carver Dolly for a tune-up. Hard getting room with her lately, though. Heard she's running with the rebs. Y'know. Princey's Pawns."
    ----

Doll Parts is a tale of the intertwined lives of survival in a tumultuous winter beneath a dystopian Vlaakith Empire.
Of a formerly Mastered Doll, Vanquish, now a Carver, living amongst the lowest of society in the Discard Downs.
Of a disgraced old githyanki, Voss, adjusting to civilian life after most of his spent inside prison.
Of an heir to the Empire conspiring to tear it all down from within, Orpheus, if he could just open his eyes for long enough to care.

    Summary

"I kissed you, and even the dark turned gentle for a while."

Bernadette is a 34-year-old midwestern retail manager who just wants to enjoy her Friday night with a Bath & Body Works candle and her current BG3 playthrough.

Instead, a cursed journal drags her between worlds and dumps her on the docks of Baldur's Gate. Armed with nothing but four-inch Demonias, seven years of retail management, and her customer-service smile crisp enough to gut a fish, she expects to be dead in an hour.

What she doesn't expect is that everything she knows about the game is a lie.

Cazador Szarr isn't who she thinks. He is a traumatized Kozakuran refugee, a Warlock bound by a devil's pact, and an anti-hero culling the worst of the city to buy his soul back. And Astarion? That tragic elf she spent a thousand hours saving? He is a corrupt, narcissistic libertine incapable of realizing he is the byproduct of his own doing.

Caught in Cazador's centuries-old Faustian endgame, Bernadette must survive a coven of feral vampires, navigate Upper City politics, and try not to fall for Cazador.
