"As you know," Nandor begins, sitting straight-backed in his customary chair, "on account of how it was all caught on film because you documentary people are now just leaving cameras around to record things in empty rooms for some reason—I and my familiar Guillermo had an encounter of an... intimate nature last night. On this very couch! And a bit up against the wall before that—but you know all this, you have all the footage and all that.
"Now, I am told that when this sort of thing happens between two people who live in the same house, and who have not done that sort of thing before in one of your documentary programs, it can be the cause of quite a lot of ex-cite-ment. So I would like to make it officially very clear that there is nothing for the getting excited about in this case! Yes, it happened—and a very good time was had, especially by Guillermo, because of course I am very good in bed—but it was mostly just a one-time kind of thing. We had our fun and all, but you must understand that it does not change anything between me and Guillermo. He is still the familiar, and I am still the vampire, even though now I have touched him on the peepee."

It wasn’t really any of his business why someone would pull over to the side of the road and get out of their car, though he personally would not have chosen to get out and stand on the sidewalk in this downpour. Whatever, Guillermo thought distantly. If working at Panera had taught him anything, it was that people were strange.
Nandor has a lucky night, and Guillermo has a very bad time.

Summary
so you know how vampire bats regurgitate blood into each other's mouths to form bonds? and you know how guillermo didn't want to be a vampire because he couldn't get himself to eat?
And he pulled away, just slightly, enough so that if he were breathing, the hot air would brush against Guillermo's nose and cheeks. Their lips were slick with blood and spit and still, there was more blood spilling over out of Nandor's throat, and then it all made sense. He was guiding it into Guillermo's mouth with his hand, a little waterfall trickle of it to be gulped greedily up. He wasn't kissing, he was feeding, and moreover seemed to be completely unaware that such a thing would be considered taboo.
Or at least, Guilllermo would have thought that, his dead heart beating frantically at the sensation, if it weren't for the fact that Nandor's half-lidded eyes seemed almost alight with distant, satisfied pleasure.

“I thought you were gonna be mad at me,” she says, flicking her eyes up to him briefly before looking back to the snowglobe, giving it another shake, this one more restrained.
“I get why you wanna go out,” he says, sitting back. Apparently they’ll be having this little chat entirely in the hallway. “I’m not going to let you, but I get why you want to.”
She bites the inside of her cheek, thoughtful.
“You promise you’re not mad?” She asks. It’s not the first time he’s been asked this question. He’s pretty sure it won’t be the last.
“Promise,” he tells her. “Already forgotten.”
She looks at him then, a studying sort of look, and then she smiles.
“That’s just because you’re getting senile,” she says, like the little shit she is.
Perhaps he should reconsider letting her off the hook so easily.

It's several months after season 2, and politics are shifting rapidly in the New Republic.
“One of the delegation’s sticking points in the treaty has been a desire to share risk between the New Republic and Mandalore. They don’t want to sign without an assurance. Apparently it’s traditional to do this... somewhat literally. I don’t get the sense that it’s universally desired, but,” she shrugs a little, “we’re all floundering here. Rebuilding a republic out of a dictatorship isn’t easy.”
“I’m not getting the problem here, Leia. So they want it all in writing?”
She lays it out for him, and Luke can’t say he didn’t ask for it. “They want someone from the New Republic to become the new Mand’alor’s consort. Essentially, they want a hostage.”Luke wants the New Republic to back and fund his plans for the new Jedi Order, Bo-Katan wants Mandalore to rise to its previous glory, Leia wants a system of governance that is functional, and Din wants a nap.
(Or, the arranged marriage fic I had no intention of writing.)
