Shamrock wants to believe. He wants to believe in a God who follows the divine path, who steers the world into a righteous future and banishes all that is inferior and impure. He wants to believe his life has meaning, that he, too, has a place in that future. But Imu grabs him by the head, tilts his ruined face upward, and then the air crackles, followed by deafening thunder.

"Listen." Shanks leans forward, elbow on his knee. "I've got a crew to protect and friends to keep out of trouble. You have to give me a reason not to throw you overboard right now."
Shamrock studies him in silence. Shanks is right, of course. He wouldn't trust himself either. It's already a miracle that he's on this ship. Shanks could've left him in the snow to bleed out or freeze to death, whichever came first. It's what Shamrock would have done.

Summary
Years of proving he was more than the tainted blood that ran in his veins. Yet all it took was one mistake to ruin everything.
When a concept is built on utter perfection, destroying it takes a single scratch. Such is the case for Figarland Shamrock. At the first sign of failure, he was destined to fall. He was, after all, only worth as much to his superiors, as his mother had been to his father.
Thus is the descent from a god, to a slave at the mercy of a once trusted colleague.

Summary
Bathtime with Luffy is usually Zoro's responsibility. He's the one who hauls Luffy out of the water and so he's the one who dunks him into it. Freshwater doesn't hurt a devil fruit user - it's the specificity of the salt that does it, the mix of ocean water that drains the energy from a devil fruit user and makes them sink. The Going Merry's baths aren't 100% freshwater.

MC CC-2224 has, from 03.01.19 to 03.31.19, undermined all authority of HR Rep KD under the guise of asking about benefits which he is aware are not available to those in his classification. Further, MC CC-2224 has posted inappropriate questions in employee discussion forums as to whether insurance policies around senatorial animal companions may be extended to CT-officers in the GAR.
(Cody gets hurt and has to leave the field. Waxer and his fellow officers step in to pick up Cody's responsibilities only to find out that their commander has a special sort of relationship with the GAR's HR department.)
