Too many responses to count flashed through Tommy’s mind. This man was going to kill him, there was no denying that. No denying that Tommy had been stupid. That mantra had gotten him through the night, sure, but it wasn’t true, and now he was going to die.
In the forest, he didn't know what was coming to kill him. Now, though, he knew it would be this man, with his soft cloak and softer eyes, Tommy wasn’t so afraid.

Summary
Tommy was just having a nice time in his cage, hidden deep below the deck of the ship within its belly with the other prisoners. And then, of course, a storm had to hit. Knocked out cold, he wakes up on the shores of an unfamiliar island, with a creature with a thirst for his blood nearly right next to him. Now he's gotta avoid talking with the siren that can hold civil conversations whilst also searching for help.
He's going to die, isn't he?Or, Tommy unwittingly lands in Wilbur's arms, and the siren decides hmm maybe I don't like being alone.
Or or: Local fish man stranded on beach with child. They're terrorizing each other, the locals say.
