It had all started as a handful of missions that Lucy had brushed off as "off days." At first, it had just been Natsu getting distracted, Natsu getting a little more protective than usual, Natsu letting his fire linger a little too long before dismissing it.
Then it turned into something else. It turned into sleepless nights, short tempers, and a faraway glaze over his eyes like he was imagining how the Guildhall would look as a glorious pyre of fire. It turned into new wants and desires, new behaviors, and new challenges that the whole guild would have to overcome.
Oh, and there's also the fact that he looks at Lucy like she's the most precious treasure in his hoard. That was new, too. Lucy wasn't so sure how to feel about that one, yet.

Nian loves to mess with her, and she is annoyingly good at it. So obviously, if Lava happens to get even a tiny chance to get back at her, she grabs onto it without a second of hesitation. What could be extremely irresponsible and lead to many very bad consequences, which, of course, is not good, but she is only a mortal and chance of turning tables with Nian is too rare to care about what will be next.
And that mindset is exactly how she got stuck in a situation like a fake marriage.

Penacony feels so stifling.
So, when a train shows up, and a red-haired woman offers her a place on it...well, Robin can't refuse, can she? Maybe this 'Astral Express' can help Robin finally be somebody again.
And maybe her mysterious bodyguard, Firefly, can as well.
Or: Robin's bullet wound has actual consequences, I put her on the Express just because, and Firefly...is Firefly. Also, this is going to be lighter then what the tags suggest lol. We are gonna be dealing with dark stuff, but aside from that it's really just focusing on Robin healing.
