Summary
Masaki isn't the type to seek deep connections. Reserved, meticulous, and accustomed to relying only on himself, he has learned to navigate the world without unnecessary involvement. He works at the Cosmic Blaster, a coffee shop in Minato where the smell of coffee mingles with a calm, comfortable atmosphere. There he spends his days with Hikaru, his colleague and only friend. The only one he allows himself a smile to.
Ranmaru, on the other hand, is a whirlwind of gentle energy. A medical student, he lives between notes, sleepless nights, and parties thrown by his friends. He loves order, well-made plans, and days that flow according to a precise pattern. He hates anyone who disrupts them. He will become a regular at the Cosmic Blaster, perhaps for the atmosphere or perhaps for that golden-eyed barista. Something will compel him to return almost every day, as a refresher course in his routine.
Between coffees, light-hearted jokes, and shared silences, Ranmaru and Masaki begin to get to know each other. Words become confidences, gestures become more attentive, and glances become longer.
But when feelings begin to become clearer, something changes.

The task seems easy ; they tell him the monster is in human form, supposedly not trained for battle.He's not so confident when he gets face to face with a boy with snake as hair, and even less when he realizes he is the reason Inazuma is decorated in hyperrealistic statues.

Summary
Gon is seven years old when he loses his way in the forest behind Aunt Mito’s house. After wandering for hours he stumbles upon a young man in a clearing: a fortune teller named Killua, who is neither kind nor polite but still offers to guide Gon home. Gon, intrigued by his new friend, continues to replay their encounter even when the summer is over.
The next summer, Gon returns to search for Killua’s company. He finds him. And he continues to seek him out the next year, and the next, and the next.
Soon, all Gon can think about is going to see Killua again. Yet some things about their meetings are decidedly strange. For one, Killua never seems to remember him. He’s always wearing the same clothes. And, now that Gon is old enough to see it, he always looks a little sad…

It might’ve been seconds, months, or years until Killua finally opens his mouth, eyebrows furrowed and a look of confusion painted on his face.
“W-what--”
“Marry me, Killua!” he says, bolder and fiercer than before. Killua looks dazed, completely awestruck and shocked as if Gon had just revealed the secrets of the universe.
“I got this for you!” he continues, “Where I’m from, you give a seashell to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. And to me, that’s you.”
Gon hears Killua’s breath hitch.
“It’s always been you.”

Gon looks at him, really looks at him, and Killua shrivels up and burns to a crisp under that earnestness, the intensity of it. The words aren’t much; they were probably thought of on the spot. Yet Killua’s already taken it all in and spread the seeds where it may, a siren song curled around his ribs, birthing a type of magnetic yearning.

Killua deadpans at his best friend.

“Oh, it’s like an expression of love, because I love you Killua!”

Summary
It could only be Killua, Gon realizes, means much more to him now, applies to everything from the mundane to the extraordinary. He was much smarter in his youth, saying out loud all these words he’s never had to think twice about, words that burst from his chest like cannons of starlight. Gon learns that this kind of love isn’t so different. It’s not something he needs to think about; it just is, even when it isn’t said in as many words.
Killua’s probably loved Gon a lot longer than he would like to admit. It still flusters him to whisper the word out loud, love, like a trembling rose about to explode.

Gon reaches out his hand and this time, instead of the wings shrinking into Killua’s back at his touch, Killua flinches and squirms away from Gon before he even gets there. A few bloody feathers fall onto the bedsheets.
“Don’t touch them. I hate them.” Killua hisses.
His eyes are icy blue and his tone equally cold, but for some reason, Gon doesn’t believe him at all.

Summary
The Whale Island Observatory offers one of the most coveted internships in the country, and it just so happened to land on Killua Zoldyck, a recently graduated astronomy student who has worked his ass off for this internship ever since he entered university, vowing that he’ll go back to the island where his passion for astronomy started.
It’s a shame that in between trying to keep himself afloat and raising enough money to free his sisters from their family, he lost sight of the love he once had for the stars.
Too good of an opportunity to pass up, and the fact that the money would afford him a new life with his sisters, Killua decided to accept the internship anyway—though he swore to quit as soon as the internship is over. Why would he force himself to go through something he’s forgotten how to enjoy? It’s not like he has something worth staying for.
Then enter Gon Freecss, the long-lost childhood friend Killua met years ago, who seemed to be more excited about the internship than he is.
… Well, damn. Maybe this internship wouldn’t be so bad, after all.

And when his band manager Bisky says she knows the perfect person he thinks that maybe, he’s finally got lucky, and maybe it will all be fine.

Summary
Killua Zoldyck’s carefully crafted strategy to graduate early was all going according to plan. Until the beginning of his last scheduled year, when his academic advisor decided to share that he was missing all of his required athletics credits. And that all gym classes were full for the year. And, no, scanning into the workout center once a week could not count for credit.
What could count for full credit, though, was being a practicing athlete on a university sports team for a minimum of two semesters. Great news for the men’s baseball coach whose team desperately needed a new pitcher and was willing to give opposite-of-athletic Killua a shot. No hitting required, minimal fielding promised, and an unexpectedly killer curveball later, and Killua had a #99 jersey with his last name on it.
The issue? Killua knew nothing about baseball. Luckily for him, team captain and catcher Gon Freecss had selflessly volunteered to teach Killua everything he needed to know about the game outside of practices.
Luckily for him, Killua loved study sessions. And baseball pants. And maybe the fact that things didn’t always go according to plan.

No, is his immediate reaction and, to his continued mortification, his mouth blurts it out without his permission. He shoves his hands in his pockets, ducking his chin to glare at the dirt as he mutters, “I mean, I don’t…mind it.” He glances back up at his friend through his fringe to find a delighted smile aimed his way, wide and bright and captivating. His heart leaps in his chest at the sight.
