Jaskier could admit to it; he was starting to develop a problem.
He wouldn’t call it a drinking problem, exactly. He’d seen men with that kind of sickness, who couldn’t function unless they had ale lingering on their lips, and he could happily go weeks without ever touching the stuff (even if he’d prefer not to – but life on the road with a Witcher didn’t always bring with it anything other than slightly-muddy water).
It was just that when he did drink, he tended to steal things.
He couldn’t help it! He’d tried to help it. But no matter how much he thought he could recount the nights they spent in taverns, he’d wake up in the morning to find some small thing in his pack; cleaning supplies for his lute, a tiny bottle of the whiskey he liked, a new fine silk shirt. He couldn’t remember taking them, but there was no other possible explanation. They were too tailored to his own desires to be some passing fancy slipping them in with his things and checking his coin purse confirmed that he’d not spent anything near the amount he should have done for some of the things he’d found.

But then weeks turned to months turned to years and Jaskier realized he’d been wrong; Geralt actually enjoyed physical touch as much as he did - he was just too scared to ask for it or seek it out beyond brief nights with whores. Sometimes Geralt would give him odd looks, yes, when he tried to hug him or touch him but he never pushed him away.
And that, for Geralt, meant something.
So, Jaskier kept pushing the boundaries and Geralt kept letting him.

Jaskier was finally ready to confess to Geralt. Despite Geralt loving Yennefer and never even giving Jaskier a hint that his feelings would be returned Jaskier just felt it was time. Jaskier wrote his feeling into song and then they went on the dragon hunt. It halted the plans, but it should've been nothing more than a stop along the way. Then Geralt told Jaskier how much he really wanted him gone. Jaskier descended the mountain alone and wandered alone to a small town north of Soddon, where he tried to drown his sorrows in ale and song. Following the pain however, Jaskier went to the town marketplace and ran into a particularly disheveled Lion Cub of Cintra.

“Well,” Kaz grimaced and looked over his shoulder before facing her. “A while ago, I ran an insurance scam. It was a long one. Took me a few months and it required a lot of backup,” he admitted. Inej nodded. “Um, to make it work… I needed a spouse…” he said slowly. Inej’s brows raised.
“Kaz…Are you already married?”
“I had forged it,” he said, almost defensively. “It’s forged. The whole thing was forged, but apparently I did a good job because the idiots at the courthouse say it is legally binding.”
Part of Inej wanted to laugh. This could only happen to them. She squeezed Kaz’s fingers.
“Just sign some divorce papers then.”
“That’s the issue.”
“Is she dead? You don’t need to worry about it if she’s dead, Kaz.”
“No. Nobody is dead…unfortunately,” Kaz sighed and ran a hand over his face. “It’s just going to be a pain in the ass.”
Inej felt the first hint of worry climb in her chest.
“….who did you marry?”
Kaz grimaced.
"Take a guess."
Or
Kaz and Inej are on a time crunch to get married. Unfortunately, Kaz's forgery skills from a fake marriage require divorce papers and Jesper just isn't sure he's willing to put their fake-kids through that.

As if he can hear Sokka’s thoughts, Zuko turns his head to look directly at him, eyes bewildered.
And this is where Sokka realises something is very, very wrong.
Two minutes later: “No way!” Sokka shakes his head wildly, just as prince jerkbender across him curses. “I’m soul bonded- To him?! No way! That’s just spirit mumbo-jumbo!!!”
-or, through some freak Spirit accident involving Zhao, the Avatar, and the continuous joke that is both their existence, Sokka and Zuko have been soul-bonded and mentally linked. Neither of them are particularly happy with this.

When Merlin's mate, Will, was teasing him about being single, Merlin cracked and simply invented a boyfriend to make Will shut up. Unfortunately, his mum overheard and was so happy for him, that he couldn't bring himself to tell her that it wasn’t true. Things got a little out of hand when Merlin continued to embellish the lie until he had a fully-formed pretend serious boyfriend that his mum wanted him to bring to the family Christmas party...
It was only when his friend, Gwen, pointed out that the boyfriend Merlin had made up sounded a bit like Arthur - who was part of their group of friends but not Merlin's favourite person in the world - that the idea of asking the prat to pretend to be his boyfriend at the party formed. Perhaps not the best idea ever - Merlin just hoped to be able to make it through the party without anyone guessing the truth.

“Are you alright?” Jaskier asks. He’s been dragged outside again during the middle of one of his sets. That’s fine. He was almost expecting it. Geralt has become a little bit predictable, and a bad mood usually means he’ll want a quick pick me up at some point.
“I will be in a moment,” Geralt growls, and he pushes Jaskier up against the wall.
And it's fine. Normal. New normal. Jaskier goes and he goes happily and willingly. But there’s something that is tugging on his mind, something that aches.
He doesn’t put his finger on it until afterwards. “You really will have to start being more patient. I do need to make a living – and you dragging me away in the middle of my songs all the time is bad for business.”
Geralt gives a chuckle, “you’re saving money on the whorehouses, are you not?”
And oh.
Geralt is using him for sex.
