Kevin stared at her. She was already dressed to go out, in her usual cozy layers and a warm gray scarf wrapped around her neck. She looked exactly like the kind of person who would enjoy a peaceful walk through a museum.
“You’d really go with me?” he asked, cautiously.
Renee’s smile widened. “Of course I would.”
