Summary
The world outside Teyvat knew of the fake sky. Having long achieved space travel and the knowledge that those in Teyvat are trapped.
The world they once knew to have spun around the sun, was now static, and the edges of the fake sky taunted them with a half view. After all, only the lands far beyond Teyvat could see the edges of what Teyvat knew as truths.
Thanks to The Great Satellite, the outside world could live in order of night and day just as they always should. But Teyvat never stopped being a heavy topic in their history. Known as the land were the gods they followed died in, resentment towards Teyvat has always been present.
And when the Era of Heroes arrived, "villainous" was the only thing they could call Teyvat.

In celebration of this year's Schleiernächte, the stretch of time made up of the days the lunar calendar doesn't account for, when the veil between worlds is said to be at its thinnest, a community bulletin board is placed near the front gates of Mondstadt, and anyone in Teyvat is encouraged to compose and share poetic works for all to enjoy. When what begins as a somewhat silly exercise in literary creativity takes an unexpected turn for the profound, two particular citizens find that their complicated connections to the land they call home, and the disquiet they feel because of them, are more alike than they'd thought.

“Two minutes out? Where’d you go?” Tim asked. “I thought you were just gonna walk to the stores at the end of the street.”
“I did,” Bruce agreed and glanced at the young man in the seat next to him. “When I came back to meet up with you, I found you outside with a concussion and had left to get you patched up.”
“…but I’m not concussed?” Tim said hesitantly. “Bruce…did you kidnap a random person?”
His silence spoke louder than anything he could have said.
“Oh my goodness, you did,” the young man laughed out, sounding more amused than concerned.

Varka's voice is soft in the quiet murmurs of the lighthouse. Their limbs are tangled in a mess of intertwined legs and blankets, and Varka looks serene underneath the moon's embrace.
“Home?” Flins whispers, as though the word is foreign in his mouth.
Varka reaches out to roll a strand of dark hair between his fingers, “Yes, to Mondstadt.”
Flins hums, closing his eyes.
“Very well then,” Flins nods, “Bring me home, Grand Master.”
Flins follows Varka back home to Mondstadt and relearns how to live as an ordinary human.

Durin has learnt a lot about "courting" and "romance" from observing humans. He still doesn't really understand much, but according to his observations, he definitely thinks there's something "going on" between Albedo and Wanderer. Durin decides it's up to him to do something about it, and begins his great undertaking of a certain task he's heard of: the art of "match making".
Albedo was speechless for a moment before finally speaking up. “Durin,” he asked nicely, “just how many people did you ask about this?”
Wanderer watched with apprehension as Durin mentally counted on his fingers, distinctly feeling the physical sensation of a rock dropping into his stomach, as Durin’s two hands ran out of fingers and he had to start fresh on his left hand once again.
“You know what? Don’t answer that. Don’t answer that question.” Wanderer snapped.
